NATIONAL MERIT CUM MEANS SCHOLARSHIPS - NMMS 2012

State Level National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination for class VIII will be conducted on 18-11-2012 (Sunday) from 10.00 AM. to 01.00 PM. in Telugu/ Hindi/ Urdu/ English media at all Revenue Divisional Head Quarters of23 Districts in the State.
The required Application Forms and Nominal Rolls are already sent to all the eligible schools with instructions. Students can obtain Application Forms from the school concerned.

I) ELIGIBILITY: A candidate who has/is
(i) Scored at least 55% of marks in case of OC/BC and 50%of marks in case of  SC/ST/PH in class VII Examination studied during the year 2011-12.
(ii) Studying in Government /Local Body /Government aided schools only and
(iii) Who's parental annual income (both Parents put together) is below RS.l,50,000/­ from all sources for which candidates have to produce latest original Annual Income Certificate issued by the MRO in case of Private employee and certificate issued by the employer in case of Government employee.
The students studying VIII class in A.P.Residential High Schools, A.P. Social Welfare Residential Schools, A.P.Tribal Welfare Residential High Schools, Government Ashram High Schools and Kasturba Residential Schools, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Kendriya Vidyalayas and in Private unaided Schools are not eligible to appear for the Examinations.
(iv) Candidate has also to submit the original caste certificate (issued by the MRO) to the Headmaster.
(v)' Candidate has also to submit the Original VII class Pass Memo of Marks to the Headmaster.

II) Examination fee is : Rs.IOO/- for OC/BC students & Rs. 501- for SC/ST/PH students. The examination fee has to paid in form of Demand Draft through SBH/SBI in favour of THE DIRECTOR FOR GOVERNMENT EXAMINATIONS; ANDHRA PRADESH; HYDERABAD.

The following are the due dates for remittance of Examination fee and for submission of applications.

a)	Last date to pay Examination  Fee by the Candidates  to the Head Masters of the Schools concerned.	:	15-09-2012 (Saturday)
b)	Last  date  for  remittance   of  fee  in  shape  of  Demand Drafts by the Head Masters.	:	17-09-2012 (Monday)
c)	Last date for submission of filled application forms alongwith demand drafts and other enclosures in the 0/o. The District Educational Office by the School HM's.	:	20-09-2012 (Thursday)
d)	Last date for submission  of Nominal Rolls along with fee receipts by the concerned  DEO's  to 0/o. the Director of Government Examinations,  A.P., Hyderabad.	:	24-09-2012 (Monday)

DEPARTMENTAL TESTS RELATED GOS' AND INFO

As per the AP Public Service Commission Regulations, AP State Public Service Commission conducts Departmental Examinations for employees working in various Departments under State Government of Andhra Pradesh. The Commission conducts Departmental Examinations twice a year i.e., in May and November for the promotions to the employees, Teachers of AP. The Departmental examinations are held at 13 District Headquarters and also in Hyderabad. The candidates are admitted to the District Centre concerned where the candidates are presently working.

Automatic Advancement Scheme AAS (6/12/18/24 Years) || GO.96 Dated 20.5.2011

Automatic Advancement Scheme AAS (6/12/18/24 Years) Scheme. The New Automatic Advancement Scheme was introduced vide GO.96 Dated 20.5.2011. This New AAS Scheme changed the periodicity of the previous 8/16/24 years as 6/12/18/24 years.The Government has introduced the AAS Scheme through G.O.Ms.No.117 Fin & Plg (FW.PRC.I) Dept., dated 25.05.1981 to the State Government employees and employees of Local Bodies as a substitute for those who are entitled to get promotions, but are unable to get them at regular intervals because of stagnation due to non-availability of vacancies. The AUTOMATIC ADVANCEMENT SCHEME(AAS) was introduced in PRC-1982. Automatic Advancement Scheme AAS (6/12/18/24 Years)

As per GO.96 the Govt  has introduced the four slabs 6/12/18/24 Years and details are as follows:

Special Grade Post Scale (6 years) :

An employee on completion of 6 years of service in a particular post shall be appointed to the Special Grade Post Scale which is the next higher scale above the pay scale of the post he/she is holding.

Special Promotion Post Scale I-A & Special Adhoc Promotion Post Scale I-A (12 years) (SPP I-A):

An employee on completion of 12 years of service in a particular post shall be appointed to the Special Promotion Post Scale I-A.  More Details on SPP I-A Click Here.

Special Promotion Post Scale I-B / Special Adhoc Promotion Post Scale I-B (18 years) 

An Employee on completion of 18 years service in a particular post, shall be allowed one increment in the Special Promotion Post Scale I-A or Special Adhoc Promotion Post Scale I-A as the case may be, which shall be called Special Promotion Post Scale I-B / Special Adhoc Promotion Post Scale I-B 

Special Promotion Post Scale II (24 years):

An employee, on completion of 24 years of service in a particular post, shall be placed in the scale of the post applicable to the second level promotion post to the original post held by him. The employees after availing the benefit of SPP II are not eligible for the Automatic Advancement Scheme on their further promotions. 

Fixation of Pay on appointment to Automatic Advancement Scheme

1. (a)The pay fixation on appointment to Special Grade / Special Promotion Post Scale-I-A/Spl. Promotion Post Scale-II/Special Adhoc Promotion Post I-A and Special Adhoc Promotion Post II shall be under FR 22(a)(i) read with F.R.31 (2). 
2. (b) One increment shall be allowed in the existing scale on appointment to Special Promotion Post Scale I-B/ Special Adhoc Promotion Post Scale I-B. 

Fixation of pay on promotion from Automatic Advancement Scheme Posts

1. (a) In case of Promotions from the Special Grade and Special Promotion Post I A & I B, the pay shall be fixed under FR 22-B. 
   (b) In case of promotions from Special Promotion Post Scale II, the pay shall be fixed under FR 22(a)(i) read with FR 31(2).
