Eligibility and Age Limit:

Head Constable (Telecommunication)	Between 18 to 25 years	10+2  with  Physics,  Chemistry  and  Mathematics  having aggregate   of   45%   marks   in   Physics,   Chemistry   and Mathematics from a recognized Board or University;  or 10th Class pass from a recognized Board with two years Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Electronics or Electrical or Computer from recognized Institute; or 10th Class pass from a recognized Board with Science (PCM) and with three years Diploma in Electronics or Communication or Instrumentation or Computer Science or Information Technology or Electrical from recognized Institute.

• Cutoff date for determining the age will be 24.10.2014 (24th October, 2014) (Candidates should not have been born earlier than 24.10.1989 and not later than 24.10.1996).

How to Apply for ITBP 229 Head Constable

• Eligible and interested candidates should send their Applications (duly filled in Hindi or English only) complete in all respect and Candidate’s Admit Card duly filled, in the prescribed proforma as per Annexure ‘I’ and Annexure ‘II’. The application, either typed or neatly hand written in ball pen, on one side only on full size plain paper with passport size photographs affixed on application should be sent along with application fee, and enclosures as mentioned in para-11 to THE INSPECTOR GENERAL (Central) Frontier HQ, ITB Police, Plot No. 163-164 (E-8), Trilochan Nagar, P.O.-TrilangaNear Shahpura, Bhopal (MP), PIN Code-462039. The applications must reach on or before the prescribed last date i.e. 24.10.2014.

Application Fee:

• The candidates belonging to General and OBC category should pay the fee of Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty only) (non-refundable) as application fee by means of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)” only.

Copies of following documents be attached with the application form:- 

• i) Educational Certificates (for proof of educational qualification). 
• ii) Date of birth Certificate (Matriculation or 10th Class Certificate or Certificate issued by Board/National Open School /National Institute of Open School as proof of date of birth.) 
• iii) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/OBC Certificate (if belonging to any of these categories) issued by an authority not lower than Tehsildar or SDM. SC/ST & OBC Certificate (as applicable) must be in the format prescribed by the Govt. of India as attached at Annexure-‘III” and ‘IV’ respectively. 
• iv) Passport or Pan Card or Voter ID or Adhar Card or Domicile Certificate for verification of Citizenship. 
• v) Height/Chest relaxation Certificate as per Annexure-‘V’, if applicable.
• vi) Discharge Certificate for Ex-Servicemen. 
• vii) Diploma / ITI Certificate (as applicable). 
• viii) Two self-addressed envelopes of 4”X9” size with Rs. 5/- postage stamps affixed on each envelope. 
• ix) Envelope containing Application must be superscribed in bold (CAPITAL) letters “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF HEAD CONSTABLE (TELECOMMUNICATION) IN ITBP.” 

Note: All the above relevant original documents/certificates are required to be brought at the time of Phase – I and Phase – III of recruitment test as mentioned at Annexure – II.
