  • G.O.Ms.No.232 Finance (F.R.I.) Department dated 16.9.2005
ORDER:
  • In the G.O. read above, orders were issued enhancing the maximum limit of enhancement of Earned Leave/ Privilege Leave at the Credit of Government servant on the date of retirement from 240 to 300 days with effect from 16.9.2005.
  • Government have received a few cases, wherein a clarification was sought as to whether the same facility of encashment of “Earned Leave / Privilege Leave on retirement from service at 300 days may also be allowed in the cases of Government employees who die while in service.
  • Government after careful consideration, hereby order that the orders issued in the G.O. read above are equally applicable to the cases of death while in service
  • Necessary amendments to the relevant rules will be issued separately.
  • These orders come into force with effect from 16.9.2005.
