To build the awareness to all the field engineers on community contracting and specifications & standards it is decided to take up one school in each district and complete all the works of that school project in a quickest possible time. Regarding this the following guidelines are issued

- (1) GO Ms No 87 of school education dept Dated 30-11-2019
- (2) CSEs technical circular no. MBNN/2/2019-20 dated 26-12-2019.
- 1. The DEO & APC shall finalize one school in their district for demo purpose.
- 2. The demo school shall be taken up with a cost of not more than Rs 30 lakhs. Better around Rs. 20-25 lakhs.
- 3. Preferably a primary/upper primary school may be selected. The strength of the students shall not be less than 100.
- 4. School having existing compound wall or school already sanctioned with compound wall from MGNREGS may be selected.
- 5. The demo school should have all components as far as possible.
- 6. The school shall be selected where the parents committee is active.
- 7. The School shall be located in such a way that the engineers and PC chairpersons of the district can be taken to the school for cross visit/exposure to learn the standards and specifications.
- 8. While selecting the demo school the, one of the schools among the school among the executing agencies shall take be taken up for the demo or as decided by the District Collector.
