GO 4 TET Amendments School Education – Guidelines for conducting Andhra Pradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test (AP-TET) under the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act (RTE), 2009 – Amendments - Orders – Issued. AP TET 3 Papers TET Paper-III for Lang Pandits 60 Marks for Languages. One of the main amendments is The words “B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com.,” shall be substituted with the words “Any Graduation,” So any Graduate is now eligible to appear for AP TET. GO 4 Dated 12.1.2018 released.

ORDER:-
In the Government Order 1st read above, guidelines for conducting Andhra Pradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test (AP-TET) under the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act (RTE), 2009 were issued for conducting Teachers Eligibility Test.
2. In the circumstances stated by the Commissioner of School Education, AP, in the letter 3rd read above, and after careful examination of the matter, Government hereby issue the following amendments to the aforesaid guidelines issued in G.O. Ms. No. 91, School Education (Exams) Department, Dated 11/12/2017 as amended in the G.O. 2nd read above.
AMENDMENTS
1. In Para 7 (3) (a)
The existing para shall be substituted with the following para;
3. Para 7 (3) (d) shall be omitted.
4. The following shall be inserted as Para 7 (3.1) after Note 3. Under Para 7 (3) (c);
5. In Para 7 (4), 2nd para shall be substituted as follows;

AMENDMENTS
The existing para shall be substituted with the following para;
- “Any Graduation with at least 50% marks. In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.-Special Education).”
3. Para 7 (3) (d) shall be omitted.
4. The following shall be inserted as Para 7 (3.1) after Note 3. Under Para 7 (3) (c);
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR AP-TET PAPER-III (LANGUAGE TEACHERS)
Graduation with Language concerned as one of the Optional Subjects (OR) Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent) (OR) Graduation in Literature (OR) Post Graduation in Language concerned AND Language Pandit Training Certificate/ B.Ed with Language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.5. In Para 7 (4), 2nd para shall be substituted as follows;

There will be Two Papers for the TET Paper-I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes I to V, Paper-II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes VI to VIII. A person who intends to be a Teacher either for Classes I to V or for Classes VI to VIII shall have to appear in both Papers (Paper I and Paper II). | There will be three papers for the TET. Paper-I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V; Paper-II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII; Paper-III will be for a person who intends to be a Language Teacher. A person who intends to be a Teacher either for Classes I to V or for Classes VI to VIII shall have to appear in Paper-I & Paper II |

Duration of Examination: 2 hours and 30 minutes
Structure and Content
- i) Child Development and Pedagogy & Teacher Aptitute 30 MCQs 30 Marks
- ii) Language – I 30 MCQs 30 Marks
- iii) Language – II 30 MCQs 30 Marks
- iv) Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, English, Kannada Tamil, Oriya, Marathi & Sanskrit 60 MCQs 60 Marks
- TOTAL 150 MCQs 150 Marks
- Note: (1) The test items on Child Development & Pedagogy will focus on Educational Psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the Elementary level.
- Note: (2) How to choose Language –I of AP – TET Paper-III: The following Languages are offered under First Language in Secondary Schools under the State Syllabus viz., Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, English, Kannada, Tamil, Oriya, Marathi & Sanskrit. A Candidate has to choose one of these 8 Languages except English under Language I of TET, those candidates should have compulsorily studied that Language either as medium of study or First Language at least up to Class- X. The candidates who studied CBSE/ICSE curriculum can choose the Language which they studied up to Class X. Language Teachers have to choose the Language of their study in Pandit Training concerned under Language-I of TET Paper –III.
- Note (3): A candidate has to choose the English subject for TET examination, has to compulsorily choose the Telugu Language under Language I of TET.
- Note (4): The Language-II shall be English for all the candidates.
- Note (5): For Paper –III Language Subject questions will be as:- Concerned Language Subject 60 MCQs (Content 48, Pedagogy 12)
- Note (6): For Paper III, the syllabi for TET of Concerned Language Teachers and are Special based on topics of Classes VI to VIII. The difficulty standard of questions as well as their linkages could be up to Senior Secondary Level (12 th Class). The SCERT will be providing the syllabi for Language Teachers.
- Note (7): The syllabi for Language I & II shall be based on proficiency in the Language, Elements of Language, Communication and Comprehension abilities (standard up to Senior Secondary Level (12 th Class)
2. These orders shall come into force with effect from the date of issue of G.O. Ms. No. 91, School Education (Exams) Department, dated 11/12/2017.

i completed my HINDNI PANDIT TRAINING and applied for TET PAPER2 60 MARKS FOR SOCIAL STUDIES. now i saw the recent modification for language padits. for language pandits paper 3 is avaliable. now my doubt is can i modify apply for paper3 or not? please guide me

Now I'm writing APTET paper 3.
Now my question is. Can I use the last Tet as qualification for social dsc and present tet for English dsc?
