- From the Additional Secretary, DSE&L, MHRD, GOI, New Delhi, D.O. Lr. No. 15-1/2017-EE.13, dt. 05.09.2017, received through the School Education (Prog.II) Deptt., e-file C. No. 610151/Prog.II/A1/2017.
O R D E R:
- In the reference read above, the School Education (Progs.II) Department has informed that the Government of India, MHRD, Department of School Education & Literacy have issued guidelines for conduct of National Achievement Survey (NAS)-2017 in selected schools in Andhra Pradesh at different levels of School Education (classes – III, V & VIII) based on learning outcomes and that the role of the State Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Andhra Pradesh will “Facilitate the short-listing and selection of the Observer (one per Mandal) by the Chief Secretary of the State, provide school details, promorma for monitoring the administration of the test in each sampled section/ class is one among the other roles and responsibilities of the “State Level Coordinator- Monitoring (SPD)” for implementation.
- 2. The School Education (Progs.II) Department has therefore, requested the PR&RD Department to appoint Mandal Development Officer as Mandal Level Observer for Conducting of National Achievement Survey (NAS) based on learning outcomes for the year 2017-18 for Implementation of the programme.
- 3. Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby appoints Mandal Parishad Development Officer as Mandal Level Observer for conducting of National Achievement Survey (NAS) based on learning outcomes for the year 2017-18 for Implementation of the programme.
- 4. The Commissioner, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, A.P., Vijayawada shall take necessary further action accordingly in the matter.
