Extended Additional Quantum of Pension to UGC Scale Pensioners GO 14 Dated 1.3.2021. Pensions – Extend additional quantum of pension / Family Pension to the pensioners drawing UGC Scales from the age group of 70 years onwards - Orders- issued. The Revised Extended Additional Quantum of Pension/ Family Pension to Pensioners of  UGC Scales is as follows from 12.01.2019 is as follows

ORDER:
In the Government Order 1st read above, orders were issued allowing additional quantum of pension / Family Pension be allowed to those pensioners / family pensioners on attaining the age of 75 years and above as indicated in the table here under:

vi 100 years or more 50% of basic pension

2. Government have further issued orders vide reference 2nd read above, for allowing sanction of additional quantum of pension of 10% to the service pensioners / family pensioners in the age group of 70 to 75 years as detailed below:

3. The orders issued in the reference 2nd read above are in continuation of para 4.5 of the reference 1st read above and the increase in the Sl.No.1 of para above is with effect from date of issue of that order i.e. w.e.f. 12.01.2019.
4. In the reference 3rd read above, Retired College Teachers Association has represented that, the UGC Pensioners from the age group of 75 years onwards are already drawing additional quantum of pension on par with State Pensioners. Now the Association requested to implement the extended additional quantum of pension to the UGC Pensioners for the age group from 70 years onwards on par with State Government Pensioners.
5. After careful examination of the representation of the association, Government have decided to consider the request and here by issued orders to extend additional quantum of pension to the pensioners/ Family Pensioners drawing UGC Scales, from the age group of 70 years onwards with effect from the date of issue of orders. Now the table is detailed below:
