Antecedents Verification Details of VSWS Secretaries - Info Called for 

Sub: GVWV & VSWS Department – Declaration of probation to Village/ Ward Secretariat Functionaries on completion of 2 years of service - Action to be taken by the District Collectors and Chairmen, District Selection Committee - Requested Regarding. It is to inform that the Government has established 15004 Village/ Ward Secretariats for effective implementation of welfare programmes and to improve delivery of services at the doorstep of citizens with due transparency and accountability. Accordingly, 1.34 Lakhs Village/Ward Secretariat functionaries were recruited, positioned, and are functioning from Village/ Ward Secretariats since October 2019. These Village/ Ward Secretariat functionaries will complete 2 years of Service in the month of October 2021 and their probation needs to be declared.

In this regard, the District Collectors and Chairmen DSC, in the State are requested to take the following steps for declaring the probation period of the Village / Ward Secretariat functionaries on time. a. Complete the pending antecedents verification of the Village / Ward Secretariat functionaries recruited in the 1st phase Notification. b. Instruct the District HoDs of the line Departments to collect the Verified antecedent Reports of their functionaries from the District Superintendent of police.

c. Instruct the District HoDs of the line Departments to collect the Departmental Exams Data of the Village / Ward Secretariat functionaries wherever departmental tests are prescribed in their Service Rules.

d. All the District Collectors are requested to submit the report in following format to the Director, GVWV&VSWS Department on every Tuesday.
