TSTET 2022 Life Time Validity & B.Ed Candidates eligible for TS TET Paper-1 GO 8 Dated 23.3.2022

School Education - Guidelines for conducting Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) under the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act (RTE) 2009- Amendment - Orders - Issued. SCHOOL EUCATION (SER.III) DEPARTMENT. Govt have issued two major changes in Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) Rules. One of them is, B.Ed Candidates are also eligible for SGT Paper -I and The validity of the TSTET is made Life Time Validity that with retrospective date from 2011. Means, the Validity of the TSTET for the candidates qualified fro 2011, the Validity remains LIFETIME. G.O Ms No. 8 Dated: 23-03-2022. So In the past, the validity period for TET was seven years. It has now been extended for a lifetime.

ORDER:

In the reference 1st read above, Guidelines / Instructions were issued for conducting Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) under the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act (RTE) 2009.

2. In the reference 4th read above, the Director of School Education & Chairman, TS TET, Telangana, Hyd., has proposed certain amendments to the Guidelines / Instructions issued in the G.O 1st read above, in pursuance of NCTE, New Delhi guidelines vide references 2nd & 3rd read above.

3. Government, after careful examination of the proposal and in pursuance of the guidelines issued by the NCTE, New Delhi, hereby issue following amendments to the G.O Ms No.36, School Education (Trg) Department , dt. 23.12.2015.

Existing Amendment
Rule 1 (a) Rule 1 (a)
(i) Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent ) with at least 50% marks.Howevercase of SC/ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates , the minimum marks shall be 45% AND pass in 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education /4- year Bachelor of Elementary
. Education (B.El.Ed.)/ 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
(i) Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks. However in case of SC/ST/ BC/ DifferentlyAbled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45% AND pass in 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education
/ 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/ 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

(ii) Intermediate / Senior Secondary· (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks.Inrespect of SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40% AND pass in 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education(B.El.Ed.)/2- year Diploma Education(Special Education) in case of candidate , who have passed or admitted to D.El.Ed/ D.Ed ., course prior to issue of these guidelines. (ii) Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks. In respect of SC/ ST/ BC/ DifferentlyAbled candidates , the minimum marks shall be 40% AND pass in 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education(B.El.Ed.)/2-year DiplomaEducation(Special) Education) in case of candidate , who have passed or admitted to D.El.Ed/ D.Ed., course prior to issue of these guidelines.

(iii) Graduation with at least 50% marks , however incaseof SC/ ST/ BC/ DifferentlyAbled candidates , the minimum marks shall be 45% AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) /Bachelor of Education(Special Education).
"A person who has acquired the qualification of Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shallmandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as primary teacher".

Under Rule 9, qualifying marks in TET, issue of Memos/Certificates and theirvalidity.

Existing Amendment
Rule 9 (c) The validity of Certificates shall be for a period of 7 years from the date of TET concerned. Rule 9 (c) TheValidity Period of TET qualifying certificates for appointment, unless otherwise notified by the Government of Telangana,would remain valid for life.
This provision willhave retrospective effect from the date ofenforcement of TET Guidelines i.e.' 11.02.2011.
The Director of School Education and Director, SCERT, Telan gan a, Hyd ., shall take necessary action accordingly
