GOVERNMENT OF TELANGANA, DEPARTMENT OF SCHOOL EDUCATION 
TELANGANA STATE TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST-2022
Online applications are invited from eligible candidates who intend to be teachers for classes I to VIII in schools in Telangana State for appearing for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS-TET-2022) to be conducted by Department of School Education, Government of Telangana State on 12.06.2022 in all 33 Districts of the State

TSTET 2022 NOTIFICATION .
Online applications are invited from candidates to appear for the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test 2022 (TS-TET-2022) to be conducted in the State on Sunday 12.06.2022. Interested candidates can download the Information Bulletin and detailed Notification from the website https://tstet.cgg.gov.in from 25.03.2022 onwards. Candidates can submit their application Online from 26.03.2022 to 12.04.2022.
All candidates who possess D.El.Ed./D.Ed./ B.Ed. / Language Pandit or equivalent qualifications and candidates pursuing final year of the said courses with requisite percentage of marks obtained as given in the Information Bulletin of TS-TET-2022 and who aspire to become teachers for classes I to VIII in the schools of the State Government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad Schools, Private Aided Schools and Private unaided schools in Telangana State can appear for TS-TET-2022. However, the candidates intending to seek employment as a teacher in private unaided 2 schools shall have the option of appearing at CTET conducted by Central Government through CBSE, instead of TS-TET-2022, if they so desire. The candidates who did not qualify in the TETs conducted earlier can also apply for the TS-TET-2022. Further, the candidates who got qualified in the earlier TETs can also apply for TS-TET-2022, if they desire improvement over their previous TET score.

Guidelines Eligibility for TS TET 2022 :
School Education – Guidelines for conducting Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TS-TET) under the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act (RTE), 2009 – Orders – Issued. These Guidelines were issued as per G.O.MS.No. 36 Dated: 23-12-2015 and Modified as per GO 8 Dated 23rd March 2022.

TS TET 2022 Fee Particulars
Online Payment of Exam fee:
The exam fee prescribed for appearing for a Single Paper (i.e. only Paper I or only Paper II), or, for Both Papers (i.e. Paper I and Paper II) is Rs.300/- (Rupees Three hundred only). 
Candidates can pay the exam fee through Online payment option provided in the TS-TET website https://tstet.cgg.gov.in between 26.03 . 2022 to 11.04.2022

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CANDIDATES FOR APPEARING TS-TET:

The candidates at the time of applying for TS-TET should be in possession of the following minimum qualifications prescribed for category of 1st to 5th classes (Paper- I) and 6th to 8th classes (Paper - II) separately.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR TS - TET PAPER - I (CLASSES I TO V):
(i) Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks. However in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in 2 - year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 - year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR
(ii) Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with atleast 45% marks. In respect of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%. AND pass in 2 - year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 - year Diploma in Education (Special Education) in case of the candidates who have passed or admitted to D.El.Ed / D.Ed., course prior to issue of these guidelines ( 23-12-2015).

OR
(iii) Graduation with atleast 50% marks, however in case of SC / ST / BC / Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45% AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Bachelor of Education (Special Education)

Minimum qualifications for TS-TET paper - II (Classes VI to VIII):


(i) B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with atleast 50% marks. In case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education).

OR
(ii) B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with atleast 50% marks. In respect of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education) in case of the candidates who have passed or admitted to B.Ed., course prior to issue of theseguidelines (23-12-2015).

OR
(iii) 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed., with atleast 50% marks, in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%.

OR
(iv) Graduation with language concerned as one of the optional subjects OR Bachelor of oriental language (or its equivalent) OR Graduation in literature OR Post Graduation in language concerned AND Language Pandit Training Certificate/B.Ed with language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.

OR
(v) B.E/B.Tech with atleast 50% marks and Passed / Pursuing Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or B.Ed. (Special Education). In respect of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%.
Note:- 
1. The candidates, who are appearing in the final year of Bachelor of Education OR Diploma in Elementary Education etc., are also eligible to appear for TET Examination subject to the condition that the candidates cannot appear for Teacher Recruitment Test with this TET certificate, unless the candidate acquires requisite qualification.

2. A Diploma/Degree course in Teacher Education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered. However in case of Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed. (Special Education), a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only shall be considered.

3. Intermediate qualification of Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) of Telangana State or its equivalent as recognized by BIE Telangana State only shall be considered. So also the Bachelor’s Degree of a University Recognized by UGC only shall be considered.

4. Government vide Memo 2181/Ser-I/A2/2022 Dated 09-06-2017informed that ”the Govt. may impose additional qualifications over and above these qualifications specific to a teachers’ post at the time of the Notification for Teachers Recruitment Test”

STRUCTURE AND CONTENT OF TS TET 2022:-

  • All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. 
  • There will be no negative marking.
  • There will be two papers of the TS-TET, Paper-I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes I to V, Paper-II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes VI to VIII. 
  • A person who intends to be a teacher either for classes I to V or for classes VI to VIII shall have to appear for both papers (Paper I and Paper II).

QUALIFYING MARKS IN TET - Pass Criteria TS TET 2022

1. Pass Criteria in TET:
Community Pass Marks
i) General 60% and above
ii) BC 50% and above
iii) SC/ST/ Differently abled (PH)** 40% and above

Note: With regard to Visually and Orthopedically disabled minimum 40% disability only will be considered. With regard to Hearing Impaired, minimum 75% disability will be considered under PH category.

WEIGHTAGE OF TET SCORES IN THE TEACHER RECRUITMENT 
The weightage to TET scores shall be provided in the Teacher Recruitment of the State Government. i.e., 20% weightage for TET and 80% weightage for Written Test in Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) based on which selection lists shall be prepared. 

Validity period of TS TET Certificate / Marks Memo:
The validity period of TET qualifying certificates for appointment, unless otherwise notified by the Government of Telangana, would remain valid for life.

Weightage for TS-TET Scores in selection in Teacher Recruitment Test.
As per G.O.Ms.No.36,School Education (Trg.) Dept., dt 23.12.2015 cited under ref.1 , 20% weightage is given to TET score in Teacher Recruitment Test in the State of Telangana
However, mere qualifying the TET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.
