ORDER:
  • In the notification 14 read above, NCTE, New Delhi, prescribed Teachers Eligibility certificate as one of the essential qualifications for a candidates to become eligible for appointment as Teacher to the Classes I to VIII. As per TET guidelines issued by the NCTE, in the reference 2nd read above, the validity period of TET qualifying certificate for appointment shall be decided by the appropriate Government, subject to a maximum of seven years for all categories.
  • 2. Accordingly, Government issued orders in the GOs 3 to 5th read above for conducting TET in Andhra Pradesh from time to time.
  • 3. In the reference 6th cited, NCTE, New Delhi, decided that the validity TET qualifying certificates for appointment, unless otherwise notified by the appropriate Government, would remain life time, (details are at apteachers. in website) with retrospective effect from the date of enforcement of TET guidelines i.e 11-2-2011, with instructions to the concerned Body/State Govt/ UT to take necessary action to revalidate/ issue fresh TET certificate to those whose period of seven (7) years has lapsed.
  • 4. In pursuance of NCTE decision and the circumstances stated by the Director of School Education in the reference 7th read above, Government, after careful consideration, hereby order that the validity of TET Qualifying Certificate acquired prior to 09-06-2021 shall be life time by re-validating/issuing fresh TET qualifying certificate with life time validity to those candidates whose TET certificate has lapsed, without bearing any effect on the teacher's recruitment taken up so far based on the weight age of TET score obtained in these TET examinations.

ORDER: -
  • The NCTE, New Delhi, vide notification 1st read above, have prescribed the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) Certificate as one of the essential qualifications for a candidate to become eligible for appointment as Teacher to the Classes I to VIII. As per the TET guidelines issued by the NCTE, vide reference 2nd read above, the validity period of TET qualifying certificate for appointment shall be decided by the appropriate Government, subject to a maximum of seven years for all categories.
  • 2. Accordingly, Government have issued orders in the G.Os third to sixth read above, for conducting of TET in the state of Andhra Pradesh from time to time.
  • 3. In the reference 7th cited, NCTE, New Delhi, have decided that the validity period of TET qualifying certificates for appointment, unless otherwise notified by the appropriate Government, would remain valid for life time, with retrospective effect from the date of enforcement of TET guidelines i.e. 11-2-2011, with instructions to the concerned Body / State Govt / UT to take necessary action to revalidate / issue fresh TET certificate to those candidates whose period of seven (7) years has lapsed.
  • 4. In pursuance of NCTE New Delhi Lr. Vide reference 7th read above, and in the circumstances stated by the Director of School Education A.P., vide Lr. 8th read above, Government, after careful consideration of the matter, hereby issue the following amendment to the guidelines for conducting TET issued vide G.O. 6th read above:
AMENDMENT
In Rule IV Para (c) the words "The validity of certificates shall be for a period of 7 years from the date of TET concerned as per CTET" shall be substituted with the words "The validity period of TET qualifying certificate for appointment would remain life time".
