Second Saturday Holidays for 2022-23 Year Memo 30027 Instructions

- All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Ofcers in the state are aware that, certain instructions were issued to work on Second Saturdays as compensation for the number of working days which we have lost due to COVID 19 Pandemic.
- 2. Further, they are informed that 220 working days have been calculated duly considering all Second Saturdays as holidays for the academic year 2022-23.
- 3. In this connection, they are further informed that in supersession of all the orders issued earlier to work on Second Saturdays, is hereby ordered that all Second Saturdays are holidays except during half day schools and until and unless the government ordered to work on second Saturdays.
- 4. This has got the approval of the Commissioner of School Education, Andhra pradesh, Amaravati.
