AP Open School Intermediate Admissions 2022 Released Check Eligibility Apply Dates
APOSS Intermediate Courses Overview:- The Intermediate course offered by APOSS is equivalent to the formal Intermediate course / Senior Secondary/ +2 course of Formal Boards.
- One has to pass SSC/10th Class/Secondary course to get admission into the Intermediate course besides completed 15 years of age by 31st August of year of admission.
APOSS Intermediate Admissions Scheme of Studies:
The scheme of studies for Intermediate course is detailed here under. A learner has flexibility to select his/her choice of subjects from the list of subjects given under Group 'A' and Group 'B' i.e., one or two languages under Group 'A' and three or four subjects under Group 'B' totalling five subjects.Learners have also option to select Sixth subject as per their choice either from Group 'A' or Group 'B'.
One has to pass a minimum of five subjects to declare him/her as pass with a minimum of 35% marks in each subject.
AP Open School Intermediate Admissions 2022 Instructions for Admission
- Go to APOSS website www.apopenschool.ap.gov.in and download/Print the model application cum Prospectus.
- Read all the instructions carefully and satisfy the eligibility criteria i.e., educational qualifications, Minimum Age etc., conditions. Fill the model Hard/Manual copy of application first for better understanding the details to be filled.
- Learners can select their choice of Accredited Institution where they wish to take admission and attend Personal Contact Programme (PCP) for 30 days.
- Minimum enrolment in each of the AI Centre is 30. If any of the A.I. Centre enrolls less than 30 learners, the learners of that A.I. centre shall be shifted/ adjusted to the nearest viable A.I centre by APOSS. The learners of such unviable AI Centre shall have to attend personal Contact Programme Classes in the newly allotted A.I .centre. No correspondence in such matters shall be entertained by APOSS.
- All stages of application submission, fee payment and admission confirmation will be done through ONLINE only. No other procedure is allowed in this regard.
AP Open School Intermediate Admissions 2022 Registration for Admission
- All the stages of application for admission can be processed in person or through any APONLINE center.
- For Registration into a Course, go to website www.apopenschool.ap.gov.in. Click on the "Registration" Button and select "Course" (SSC/INTER).
- Then enter Learner's Mobile No., Full Name of the Learner and Date of Birth and click on "Submit".
- After successful submission, pay the Registration fee through Payment Gateway/AP ONLINE.
- Then learners shall get Registration No. with details through SMS to complete the further process of application submission and Admission fee payment.
- Phone number will be accepted only one time for payment of Registration fee.
- Mere payment of Registration fee does not give any guarantee of confirmation of seat until payment of Admission fee and also as per other conditions prescribed for admission.
AP Open School Intermediate Admissions 2022 Submission of ONLINE Admission Application
- After receiving the Registration Number, go to website www.apopenschool.ap.gov.in and click on "Admission Application for Registered Learners". Enter Registration No. and click on "Submit". If the Registration No. is tallied, ONLINE admission application will be displayed for the course registered.
- Fill all the details correctly in the ONLINE application as detailed in the Model Application and upload carefully the Photo, signature and scanned proofs wherever required and verify carefully.
- Verify all the details and if any corrections are to be made he can do so. If leaner satisfy and wishes to confirm the application, click on the "Confirm" button and "Submit".
- Once the application is confirmed by the Learner, there is no provision to make corrections under any circumstances. The Learner can take print out of application whenever needed.To take print out of the application go to website www.apopenschool.ap.gov.in and click on the button "Print Application" and enter Registration No.The Application is displayed to take copy of the application.
APOSS Intermediate Admissions - Eligibility Criteria - Age - Documents
Minimum age:
- 15 years completed as on 31st August of the admission year.
- For determining the Date of Birth the SSC/X original Pass Certificate having a record of Date of Birth has to be submitted for confirmation of admission
APOSS Intermediate Admissions 2022-23 - Educational Qualification
- (i) A pass in S.S.C from a recognized Board. The list of recognized boards is provided at 3.15 of the Prospectus.
- (ii) Candidates who wish to opt for Science subjects in Intermediate course shall have studied Maths and General Science in their X Class. Those who got admitted without the above qualification in Intermediate such candidate’s admission will be cancelled at any time and their performance will be cancelled even after passing of Intermediate examination.
- (iii) If candidate opts for Science subjects in Intermediate course without studying Maths and General Science in his/her SSC, such admission will be cancelled at any stage of his/her admission. In case pass certificates issued to such candidates will be cancelled without any notice.
- (iv) Learners who studied SSC in other State Boards/ Foreign Countries and seek admission in APOSS shall have to take "ELIGIBILITY CERTIFICATE" from Board of lntermediate, A.P. and submit at the time of admission.
- (v) The Intermediate course is of two years duration. The learners who passed SSC in current academic year i.e., March/April or May/June, 2019 are permitted to write only 4 subjects out of 5 subjects during Public Examinations, April, 2020 and learners can appear for the 5th subject during Public Examinations April, 2021 as a two years gap is compulsory from passing of SSC Examination.
AP Open School Intermediate Admission fee Concession categories:
All categories of women, SC, ST, BC, PH, Transgender, Ex-Servicemen and their children are eligible for fee concession. The original scanned documents have to be uploaded in the ONLINE admission application to claim fee concession.- (i) If the learner belongs to SC, ST or BC he/she has to furnish the Caste Certificate/ Integrated Certificate covering Community, Age, Nativity and Residence issued by not below the rank of Tahasildar / RDO for claiming fee concession. T.C. will not be accepted as proof of Caste Certificate.
- (ii) In case of Transgender the certificate issued by District Medical Board has to be submitted for fee concession.
- (iii) If the learner belongs to Persons with Disabilities (P.WD) with more than 40% disability, the Certificate issued by the District Medical Board concerned has to be submitted for fee/subject concessions.
- (iv) If the learner belongs to Ex-Servicemen or children of Ex-Servicemen, the Certificate issued by the District Sainik Welfare Officer for claiming fee concession.
APOSS Intermediate Admissions 2022 Scheme of Studies
The Scheme of Studies is shown in the following Table. For obtaining an Intermediate pass certificate, the learner is required to pass in a minimum of five subjects. One or two languages from Group 'A', and three to four subjects from Group 'B' (Non-Languages) totalling five subjects.If the learner wishes to opt for one Vocational subject as fifth subject, the learner can opt for one or two languages from Group A and two to three subjects from Group B and one Vocational subject from Group C totalling five subjects. English language is compulsory under Group A.
Learners have to select all subjects under Non- Language subject of Group B either from Science Subject Combinations or from Non-Science subject Combinations. Those combinations who wish to opt for Science subjects in Intermediate course shall have studied Maths and General Science in their X Class.
