Marriage is a special event in the life of a woman. Parents of the un-married girls also feel that it is their social obligation to perform their daughter's marriage in a dignified manner. Poor families with limited financial resources need support in fulfilling this social obligation. Keeping this in view the Manifesto promised enhanced scale of assistance for the marriages of brides belonging to SC/ST/ BC/ Minority communities. The AP Social Welfare Department has released the GO 47 on Dated 10.9.2022 and announced the YSR SHAADI TOHFA Scheme for Muslim Minorities also - Enhancing marriage financial asistance to brides of SC/ST/BC/ Minority/ Dirrenently abled categories - YSR SHAADI TOHFA implementation from 1st Oct 2022.
YSR SHAADI TOHFA Muslim Marriages Financial Assistance - వైఎస్సార్ షాదీ తోఫా
The AP Govt has announced that the Govt has so far fulfilled 98.44 per cent of the promises made to the people of the state has decided to implement ‘YSR SHAADI TOHFA’ (financial assistance for marriage scheme) from October 1, 2022Under the ‘YSR SHAADI TOHFA’, Muslim Minorities will be provided financial assistance by the state government. The ruling YSR Congress party government has taken this step to support the poor families so they can marry off their girls in a dignified manner.

YSR SHAADI TOHFA Eligibility (వైఎస్సార్ షాదీ తోఫా అర్హతలు)
- వైఎస్సార్ షాదీ తోఫా పథకానికి వధువు ముస్లిం మైనారిటీ వారై ఉండాలి .
- వివాహ తేదీ నాటికి వధువు వయస్సు 18, వరుడి వయస్సు 21 ఏళ్లు నిండి ఉండాలి.
- తొలి వివాహానికి మాత్రమే అర్హత ఉంటుంది.
- వధువు, వరుడు పదవ తరగతి పూర్తి చేసి ఉండాలి. (ఈ షరతుకు 2024 జూన్ 30 వరకు సడలింపు ఇస్తారు)
- వరుడు, వధువు ఇద్దరి కుటుంబాల ఆదాయం గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల్లో నెలకు పది వేల రూపాయల్లోపు Rs 10000 , పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో 12 వేల (Rs 12000) రూపాయల్లోపు ఉండాలి.
- మూడు ఎకరాలకు మించి మాగాణి, లేదా పది ఎకరాలకు మించి మెట్ట భూమి ఉండరాదు. మెట్ట, మాగాణి రెండు కలిపి పది ఎకరాల్లోపు ఉండొచ్చు.
- కుటుంబాల్లో సభ్యులెవ్వరూ కేంద్ర, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాల్లోగానీ, ప్రభుత్వ సంస్థల్లో గానీ, ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగిగా, పెన్షర్‌గా ఉండకూడదు. అయితే పారిశుధ్య కార్మికుల కుటుంబాలకు మినహాయింపు ఉంది.
- నాలుగు చక్రాల వాహనం కలిగి ఉండకూడదు (టాక్సీలు, ట్రాక్టర్లు, ఆటోలకు మినహాయింపు).
- నెలవారీ విద్యుత్‌ వినియోగం (గత 12 నెలల సగటు) 300 యూనిట్ల కంటే తక్కువగా ఉండాలి.
- ఏ కుటుంబమూ ఆదాయపు పన్ను చెల్లింపుదారు కాకూడదు.
- మునిసిపల్‌ ప్రాంతాల్లో 1,000 చదరపు అడుగుల కంటే ఎక్కువ నిర్మించిన ఆస్తిని కలిగి ఉండకూడదు.
- ఈ పథకానికి సంబంధించి పూర్తి వివరాలు గ్రామ, వార్డు సచివాలయాల్లో అందుబాటులో ఉంటాయి.
- గ్రామ, వార్డు సచివాలయాల ద్వారా ఈ పథకం నిర్వహణ ఉంటుంది.

1). YSR YSR Shaadi Thofa ఎలా అప్లికేషన్ చేయాలి ?
Ans: గ్రామ వార్డు సచివాలయం లో అప్లికేషన్ చేసుకోవాలి.
2). ఏ రోజు నుంచి పెళ్లి అయిన వారు YSR Shaadi Thofa కు అర్హులు ?
Ans : తేదీ 01 అక్టోబర్ 2022 నుంచి ఆన్లైన్ అవకాశం ఉంది. ఎప్పటి నుంచి పెళ్లి అయిన వారు అని ఇంకా Operational Guidlines రాలేదు.
3). YSR Shaadi Thofa కు వరుడు, వధువుకు ఎంత వయసు ఉండాలి ?
Ans : వరుడుకు 21 సంవత్సరాలు. వధువు సంవత్సరాలు నిండి ఉండాలి.
4). ఒక కుటుంబం లో ఇద్దరు మహిళలు ఉండి ఒకరికి YSR Shaadi Thofa వస్తే రెండో మహిళకు కూడా వస్తాయా ?
Ans: రెండో మహిళకు రావు.
5). వదువు వరుడులకు YSR Shaadi Thofa కు విద్యా అర్హతలు ఉండాలా?
Ans : 2024 జూన్ 30 వరకు పెళ్లి అయ్యే వదువు వరుడులకు ఎటువంటి విద్యా అర్హత అవసరం లేదు. తరువాత కనీసం 10వ తరగతి చదివి ఉండాలి.

Ans ; అవసరం అయ్యే అవకాశం ఉంది. ఆధార్ కు మొబైల్ నెంబర్ లింక్ ఉంటే తెలుస్తుంది.. కావున వధువు వరుడు ఆధార్ నెంబర్ కు మొబైల్ నెంబర్ పెళ్ళికి ముందే లింక్ చేసుకోవాలి.

8). YSR Shaadi Thofa దరఖాస్తు కు ముందుగా సచివాలయం ను సందర్శించాల ?
Ans : సచివాలయం ను సందర్శించి ముందుగా వధువు వరుడు ఆధార్ నెంబర్ తో NBM పోర్టల్ లో Eligibility Criteria చెక్ చేసుకోవాలి. అన్ని సరిగా ఉంటే ఎటువంటి సమస్య ఉండదు.
9)YSR Shaadi Thofa నగదు ఏ బ్యాంకు ఖాతా లో జమ అవుతాయి ?
Ans : లబ్ధిదారుని ఆధార్ కు NPCI లింక్ అయిన బ్యాంకు ఖాతా లో మాత్రమే జమ అవుతుంది. మిగతా ఏ బ్యాంకు ఖాతా లో జమ అవ్వదు
