NCERT Recruitment 2022 Qualifications for PROFESSOR

Eligibility (A or B) :
A
  • i) An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2. (Refer UGC Regulations-2018)
  • ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and / or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.
OR
B. 
  • An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. degree in the relevant/allied/applied disciplines, from any academic institutions (not included in A above) / industry, who has made significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years’ experience.

NCERT Recruitment 2022 Qualifications for ASSOCAITE PROFESSOR

Eligibility:
  • i) A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
  • ii) A Master‘s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
  • iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy five (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2. (Refer UGC Regulations-2018)

NCERT Recruitment 2022 Qualifications for ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

Eligibility (A or B) :

A.
  • i) A Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
  • ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET:
  • Provided, the candidates registered for the Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/Bye-laws/Regulations of the Institution awarding the degree and such Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions subject to the fulfilment of the following conditions:-
  1. a) The Ph.D. degree of the candidate has been awarded in a regular mode;
  2. b) The Ph.D. thesis has been evaluated by at least two external examiners;
  3. c) An open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate has been conducted;
  4. d) The Candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work, out of which at least one is in a refereed journal;
  5. e) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC /ICSSR/ CSIR or any similar agency.
  6. The fulfilment of these conditions is to be certified by the Registrar or the Dean (Academic Affairs) of the University concerned.
Note: NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET.

OR

B. 
The Ph.D degree has been obtained from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any time) by any one of the following: (i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (ii) the Times Higher Education (THE) or (iii) the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai).

Note: The Academic score as specified in Appendix II (Table 3A) for Universities, and Appendix II (Table 3B) for Colleges, shall be considered for short-listing of the candidates for interview only, and the selections shall be based only on the performance in the interview. (Refer UGC Regulations-2018)

NCERT Recruitment 2022 Qualifications for LIBRARIAN:

  • i) A Master‘s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55%marks or an equivalent grade in a point -scale wherever the grading system is followed.
  • ii) At least ten years as a Librarian at any level in University Library or ten years of teaching as Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science or ten years‘ experience as a College Librarian.
  • iii) Evidence of innovative library services, including the integration of ICT in a library.
  • iv) A Ph.D. Degree in library science/information science/documentation /archives and manuscript-keeping.

NCERT Recruitment 2022 Qualifications for  ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN:

  • i) A Master‘s Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point – scale, wherever the grading system is followed)
  • ii) A consistently good academic record, with knowledge of computerization of a library.
  • iii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be:
Provided that the, candidates registered for the Ph.D. degree prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances / Bye-laws / Regulations of the Institution awarding the degree, and such Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges / Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions:-

NCERT Recruitment 2022 Application Fee for Teaching Posts

Candidate need to pay the requisite amount of fee while applying for the particular post or against the vacancy. Those who have already applied against Advertisement No.171/2020 are not required to pay fee for those posts for which they have already paid fees in response to Advertisement No. 171/2020 and are now applying afresh in response to this advertisement, i.e. Advt.172/2022.

1. Before applying for the NCERT Recruitment 2022 teaching post, the candidates must have a valid email id and mobile number through which he/she will get registered with the online application portal.

2. Go the NCERT official website i.e @https://ncertrec.samarth.edu.in/
3. Click on the apply online link which is mentioned below in the article .
4. New candidates will first have to register themselves by entering your details correctly.
5. After successful registration, they can log in and complete the application form.
6. Fill your personal details, educational qualification, and other details carefully.
7. Upload your colored passport-size photograph, signature, and all relevant documents. Pay the application fee (if required).
8. Take a printout of the application form for future purposes. In case a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post, he/she should submit a separate application online along with the requisite fee for each post applied for.

Important Note:
1.1. Due to administrative reasons Advertisement No. 171/2020 uploaded on NCERT website on 29-06-2020, published in the Navbharat Times, New Delhi & The Hindustan Times, New Delhi on 01.07.2020 dated and subsequent Notice 20 July, 2020 for filling up vacant academic positions under direct recruitment in NCERT, New Delhi and at its constituent units located at Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysuru and Shillong, stands cancelled.
1.2. The candidates who had applied against in response to Advt.171/2020 need to apply afresh.
1.3. Those who have already applied against the Advertisement No.171/2020 are not required to pay fee for those posts for which they have already paid fee in response to Advertisement No. 171/2020 and are now applying afresh in response to this advertisement, i.e. Advt.172/2022. Such candidates will require to use their old Login ID and password created at the time of Advt.171/2020 to claim fee exemption.
