PM SHRI (PM Schools for Rising India) Schools Registration Process - Indicators - Selected Schools List 2022 PM SHRI School is a centrally sponsored scheme by Government of India. This initiative is intended to develop more than 14500 PM SHRI Schools managed by Central government/State/UT Government/local bodies including KVS and NVS in which every student feels welcomed and cared for, where a safe and stimulating learning environment exists, where a wide range of learning experiences are offered, and where good physical infrastructure and appropriate resources conducive to learning are available to all students. The Scheme is proposed to be implemented over a period of 5 years w.e.f. 2022-23 to 2026-27.

PM SHRI Schools Registration Process - Indicators - Selected Schools List 2022

PM SHRI Schools Selection Flow:
A pool of schools (13455) that are eligible to be selected as PM SHRI Schools will be identified based on prescribed minimum bench-marking parameters through UDISE+ data 2021-22. Bench-marked School will self-apply on the PM SHRI Portal.
  • Once the application is submitted by the schools, the schools that have scored minimum 70% in urban areas and minimum 60% rural areas will automatically reflected to the login of District Nodal Officer (DNO) in the portal.
  • DNO to verify the schools details based on onsite/online inspection of details shared by the schools carefully and as per the other verification protocols.
  • After proper verification at the district level, the DNO will send mandal-wise list of shortlisted schools to the State/UT along with proper justification in 100-200 words for each school (Shortlisted & Non- Shortlisted). DNO to send Official confirmation letter to State/UT while recommending the list of schools in the stipulated time period.
  • State Nodal Officer (SNO) to send the recommended list of PM SHRI Schools to the Ministry of Education after State/UT approval with proper justification in 50-100 words for each recommended School in the stipulated time period. The State/UT to recommend maximum two schools/block.
  • An Expert committee headed by Secretary (SE&L), at Ministry of Education will recommend the final list of schools selected as PM SHRI Schools in each State/UT.
  • DEOs should act District Nodal Officer for PM SHRI schools and AMOs shall assist to DEOs for the monitoring the schools.
  • DEOs shall log in the PM SHRI Portal trough mobile number as per the manual.
  • To issue instructions to these 13455 schools will log in the PM SHRI portal and fill the required information in the portal for approval.(Self Apply) for participation in the Challenge Method.
  • The User Manual for state, district and Schools can be downloaded from the portal and it will be guide to start the process.
  • As per the User Manual, the State has Created Login for 13 District Educational Officers as District Nodal Officer (DNO) to start the process as per manual for approval of the schools.

Key features of PM SHRI Schools Concept

PM SHRI will provide high-quality education in an equitable, inclusive and joyful school  environment that takes care of the diverse background, multilingual needs, and different  academic abilities of children and makes them active participants in their own learning process  as per the vision of NEP 2020. 
PM SHRI Schools will provide leadership to other schools in their respective regions by  providing mentorship. 
The PM SHRI Schools will be developed as Green schools, incorporating environment  friendly aspects like solar panels and LED lights, nutrition gardens with natural farming, waste  management, plastic free, water conservation and harvesting, study of traditions/practices  related to protection of environment, climate change related hackathon and awareness  generation to adopt sustainable lifestyle. 
Pedagogy adopted in these schools will be more experiential, holistic, integrated, play/toy-based  (particularly, in the foundational years) inquiry-driven, discovery-oriented, learner-centred,  discussion-based, flexible and enjoyable. 
Focus will be on learning outcomes of every child in every grade. Assessment at all levels will  be based on conceptual understanding and application of knowledge to real life situations and  will be competency-based.
Assessment of the resources available and their effectiveness in terms of availability, adequacy,  appropriateness, and utilization for each of the domains and their key performance indicators  will be done and gaps will be filled in a systematic and planned manner. 
Linkage with Sector Skill Councils and local industry for enhancing employability and  providing better employment opportunities will be explored. 
A School Quality Assessment Framework (SQAF) is being developed, specifying the key  performance indicators to measure outcomes. Quality evaluation of these schools at regular  interval will be undertaken to ensure the desired standards

 Key objectives of the PM SHRI Schools Scheme

1. Develop a centralized platform for PM SHRI School at State/National Level.
2. Keep updated information of Benchmarked schools, Various KPIs, Inspection Reports, and  the Integration with other schemes. 
3. They will provide leadership in their respective regions in providing high-quality education  in an equitable, inclusive and joyful school environment that takes care of the diverse  background, multilingual needs, and different academic abilities of children and makes them  active participants in learning process. 
4. Facilitate schools to identify areas of improvement and make time bound Performance  Improvement Plan at various levels.  
5. Data Collection, Data Analysis and Visualization and Data Usage are integral part of the  project for all the stakeholders of the Project. 
6. A mechanism to incentivize the results and outcome in the form of funding to the school will  be adopted to encourage schools to perform better on quality parameters. 
7. Automatic preparation and approval of the proposals for Annual Work Plan and Budgets  (AWP&B). 
8. A mechanism to incentivize the results and outcome in the form of funding to the school will  be adopted. 
9. Easy dissemination of updated information to resources involved in the Scheme

PM SHRI Schools Selection Process సెలక్షన్ విధానము

  • ప్రతి ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయుడు నింపినటువంటి ప్రశ్నావళి లోని సమాధానాల ఆధారంగా సెలక్షన్ జరగడం జరుగుతుంది.
  • మీరు ఇచ్చిన సమాధానాల్లో గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల్లో పాఠశాలలో 60 శాతం మార్కులు అర్బన్ ప్రాంతంలోని పాఠశాలలు 70% మార్కులు సాధించిన వారు PM SHRI స్కూల్ లకు ఎంపిక కావడం జరుగుతుంది.
  • మీరు ఎంటర్ చేసిన డేటా ను జిల్లా శాఖ అధికారులు పరిశీలించి నిజమా అని నిర్ధారించిన తర్వాత మీ పాఠశాల ఈ స్కీం పరిధిలోకి రావడం జరుగుతుంది .
  • ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయులు ఇచ్చే సమాధానాలకు కనీస మార్కులు కేటాయించడం జరుగుతుంది. కనీస మార్కులు సాధించిన స్కూలు మాత్రమే ఎంపిక చేయడం జరుగుతుంది.
