I wish to inform you that in the G.O. 1st cited, the Government have issued orders to entrustment of supervision and administrative responsibilities of the Municipal Schools to the School Education Department on par with the system being followed in the respect of Government & Panchayat Raj Schools. Accordingly, in the reference 2nd cited, instructions were issued to all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the state to take over the administrative responsibilities of the Municipal Schools under their respective jurisdictions and act accordingly as per orders issued by the Government.

Further, in the reference 3rd cited, the Director of Treasuries and Accounts, A.P., has addressed a letter to the Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, A.P., duly extending a copy to the Commissioner of School Education, A.P., and informed that there is no Finance concurrence to the G.O.Ms.No.84, MA&UD (D1) Dept., Dated: 24.06.2022 and it is requested to obtain Finance concurrence.

Further, in the G.O. 4th cited the Government have issued orders to delegation of powers and functions to the Headmasters working the Schools of Government, ZPP/MPP and Municipal Management, Mandal Educational Officers / Deputy Inspectors of Schools, Deputy Educational Officers , District Educational Officers and the Commissioner of School Education vide G.O.Ms.No.180, School Education (Ser.I) Department, Dated: 18.11.2022 and the same was communicated to all Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the state in the reference 5th cited.

Further, in the G.O. 7th cited the Government have issued amendment orders to G.O.Ms.No.84, Municipal Administration and Urban Development (D1) Department, Dated: 24.06.2022 to consider the revised cadre strength so as to complete the mapping of the cadre strength of Municipal Teachers with the cadre strength of the School Education Department in APCFSS Portal for drawing the salaries of Municipal Teachers through the School Education Department with Finance concurrence.

In this context, I am to inform you that, as per the G.O. 7th cited, there are 303 sanctioned Head Masters posts in the Municipal High Schools in the state and also the Government has delegated the powers and functions to the Headmasters of Municipal Management High Schools in the G.O. 4th cited. The list of the Head Master working in the Municipal High Schools is here with enclosed for ready reference.

In view of the above, I request the Director of Treasuries and Accounts, Andhra Pradesh to assign the DDO Codes to the Head Masters of Municipal High Schools in the state for drawing the salaries of Municipal Teachers through the School Education Department at an early date.
