Guidelines for 8th Class Byjus Tabs Maintenance and Repairs 2023 School Education Maintenance of Tabs issued to VIII Class students and teachers handling class VIII for the year 2022-23 - Orders Issued. If the TAB is found non-functional, then the student or parent has to handover the TAB to concerned Welfare & Educational Assistant (WEA)/ Ward Education Secretary (WES) where his school is located or where he resides.

Guidelines for 8th Class Byjus Tabs Maintenance and Repairs 2023

ORDER:
The Government motto is to transform education in government schools to make students globally competitive. To address the learning gap, and to ensure appropriate class-specific learning outcomes by considering individual differences, blended learning using Digital content is being practiced.

2. Digital learning creates a truly integrated classroom where the needs of all types of learners can be met. Blended learning keeps students engaged, stimulated, and motivated and helps teachers to be more effective and make greater gains with their students.

3.The Government issued 5,18,750 TABS for VIII Class students who will appear in their 10th Class Public Exams in the CBSE pattern during 2024-25 for a seamless transition into CBSE including the teachers handling Class VIII.

4. The Commissioner, School Infrastructure, in the reference 3rd read above, has stated that, as the TABS are issued to use by the students for the next three years, the maintenance is also most important for ensuring best performance of TAB and its durability. Dos and don'ts have been communicated to students and teachers. The Commissioner, School Infrastructure, has therefore, requested to issue guidelines for maintenance, repairs and replacement of TABS, as the TABS are procured under three year warranty.

5. Government, after careful examination, here by issue the following guidelines for maintenance, repairs and replacement of TAB's:-

If the TAB is found non-functional, then the student or parent has to handover the TAB to concerned Welfare & Educational Assistant (WEA)/ Ward Education Secretary (WES) where his school is located or where he resides.

The Welfare & Educational Assistant (WEA)/ Ward Education Secretary (WES) initially verifies whether it is an operational issue or technical issue, if it is an operational issue then he/she rectifies and returns to the student/parent.

If it is the technical issue the WEA/WES shall enroll the TAB in the specified application designed by the Village and Ward Secretariat Department for tracking purposes.

The Welfare & Educational Assistant (WEA)/ Ward Education Secretary (WES) shall take such TABS to the Samsung Service Centres mapped to the Village/Ward Secretariat concerned.

The Welfare & Educational Assistant (WEA)/ Ward Education Secretary (WES) shall collect all the repaired/replaced TABS from the Samsung Service Centre and handover them to the concerned student/parent under proper acknowledgement.

Accordingly, Government, hereby direct the Director, Andhra Pradesh Gram Volunteers/ Ward Volunteers and Village Secretariats/ Ward Secretariats Department [GSWSD], to ensure that the appropriate application is placed for capturing of the data regarding the TABS received for replace and repair and returned duly ensuring that all MIS reports and tracking is incorporated in that application.

7. Government also accord permission to the Commissioner, School Infrastructure, to establish a Special Cell at State level to monitor the repair and replacement of TABS and to integrate the API of the application developed by GSWS Department to the Vidya Samiksha Kendra (School Education Command and Control Centre) to monitor closely and the repairs and replacements are done at an earliest.

8. The Commissioner of School Education, the Commissioner, School Infrastructure, and the Director, Andhra Pradesh Gram Volunteers/ Ward Volunteers and Village Secretariats/ Ward Secretariats Department, shall take further necessary action accordingly, in the matter.
