Govt of AP has changed the Dasara Public Holiday to 24th Oct 2023. Earlier the DASARA Holiday was declared on 23rd and 24th Oct is Optional Holiday as per AP List of Public Holidays 2023.. Detailed revised clarification explained below.

ORDER:
In the G.O. read above, Government have issued orders declaring the 24th October, 2023 (Tuesday) as Optional Holiday on the occasion of "VIJAYA DASAMI (TIDHI DWAYAM)".
Government, after careful consideration of the matter, have decided to declare the 24th October, 2023 {Tuesday) as General Holiday on the occasion of "VIJAYA DASAMI (TIDHI DWAYAM)". Accordingly, the following Notification shall be published in an Extra-ordinary issue of AP. Gazette, dated 18-10-2023.

In partial modification of the orders issued in G.O. Rt. No. 2692, General Administration (Political.B) Department, dated 15.12.2022, notifying the General Holidays and Optional Holidays for the year 2023, the Government hereby declare the 24th October, 2023 (Tuesday) as General Holiday on the occasion of "VIJAYA DASAMI (TIDHI DWAYAM)", instead of Optional Holiday.
