Message from Principal Secretary on Future Skills Experts

Dear RJDSEs and DEOs,

Subject: Positive competition among Future Skills Experts of the academic year 2023-24, selection of Future Skill Experts for the Academic Year 2024-25 to be deployed from 12th June 2024 – Reg.

The academic year 2023-24 concluded on 23rd April, with the Future Skill Experts (Students from Engineering Colleges) focusing on advancing digital technology-led teaching and learning in Government High Schools. They have diligently submitted their project reports detailing their accomplishments to the Department of School Education.

It has been decided to recognize the top three Future Skill Experts at both the State and District levels. The Mission Director, Future Skill, has already provided District Educational Officers with the project reports for evaluation of respective Future Skill Experts. District Educational Officers are requested to review them and select the best three Future Skill Experts by Tuesday 21st May 2024. Among these three, the report of the highest achiever may be forwarded to the Mission Director by Wednesday, 22nd May 2024. The State Selection Committee, under my chairmanship, will conduct virtual interactions with all 26 Future Skill Experts, one from each district on Monday, 27th May 2024.

Regarding the deployment of Future Skill Experts (4th-year engineering students) on 12th June 2024 for the Academic Year 2024-25, mapping has been completed between Engineering Colleges and Government High Schools. Please find below the Government Memo issued in this regard. Please coordinate with the Principals of the Engineering Colleges to finalize the selection of students by Friday, 31st May 2024. Additionally, please share the e-book format of the Future Skill Textbook (consisting of basic concepts of their three years of engineering) for class 8th students to the selected Future Skill Experts for teaching 8th-grade students. Please also inform them, that an online exam is scheduled for Monday, 10th June 2024 to assess their familiarity with the Future Skill Textbook.

Given the novelty of this project, I request you to review the progress daily to ensure the selection of the best Future Skill Experts for the academic year 2024-25. Furthermore, ensure that for every group of three high schools in your district, one Future Skill Expert is deployed from 12th June 2024.

With Regards,
Praveen.
