    In pursuance of the orders issued by the Government in G.O.Ms.No.15 ,School Education (Ser.I) Department, dated:19/04/2025 for vacant posts of the School Assistant and Secondary Grade Teacher posts in the District under various managements of Government, Zilla Parishad, Mandal Parishad, Municipality Schools, Municipal Corporation Schools, Tribal Welfare Ashram Schools, Department for the Welfare of Differently abled and Juvenile Welfare Department schools in the state, applications are invited for appointment of teachers through Andhra Pradesh Teacher Recruitment Test APTRT- District Selection Committee DSC- 2025. Accordingly, Notification has been issued on 20/04/2025 .

    The application form is available in the Commissioner of School Education official website from 20/04/2025 to 15/05/2025.The eligible candidates can apply through online for recruitment to the posts of School Assistants(SA) Languages, Non-Languages, Physical Education and Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT)in Government, Zilla Parishad, Mandal Parishad, Municipality Schools, Municipal Corporation Schools, Tribal Welfare Department Ashram Schools, and for the posts Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT) and Physical Education Teachers in the Juvenile welfare Department schools and TGT Special Education, SGT Special Education and PET in the Department for the Welfare of Differently abled schools in the State through the concerned selection committee.

    ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం పాఠశాల విద్యలో అనేక సంస్కరణలకు శ్రీకారం చుట్టం ది. విద్యార్థలకు నాణ్యమైన విద్యను అందించాలనే దృఢ సంకల్పంతో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వము 16,347 ఉపాధ్యాయ ఉద్యోగాలిచ్చేందుకు మెగా డీఎస్సీ నిర్వహించాలని నిర్ణయిచింది. ఏప్రిల్ 20వ తేదీన మెగా డీఎస్సీ నోటిఫికేషన్ విడుదల చేయనున్నారు. ఉపాధ్యాయ అభ్యర్థులు ఏప్రిల్ 20వ తేదీ నుండి మే 15వ తేదీ వరకు ఆన్లైన్ ద్వారా దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవచ్చు. జూన్ 6 వ తేది నుండి జులై 6 వ తేదీ వరకు సి.బి.ట' విధానంలో పరీక్షలు నిర్వహిస్తారు.

    AP MEGA DSC 2025 Fee Particulars

    The applicants have to pay an amount of Rs.750/- towards application fee for processing and conduct of Recruitment Test (for each post separately) through Payment Gateway from 20/04/2025 to 15/05/2025 .

    The last date for payment of fee, submission of application online and uploading all the requisite certificates online is 15/05/2025. 

    On receipt of fee the candidate shall be issued a ‘Journal Number’ with which he/she can proceed with submission of application online. Issue of Journal Number does not mean that the candidate has completed submission of application online. It is only a confirmation of the fee received.

    The Candidates who applied for the earlier DSC-2024 cancelled notification issued vide GOMs. No.11 Dated 12.02.2024 must reapply for the same posts without any payment. However, if a candidate wishes to apply for a different post, they must be paid the fee separately for each additional post they apply to..

    AP MEGA DSC 2025 Age Limit

    AGE: No person shall be eligible for this recruitment if he/she is less than 18 years of age and if he/she is more than 44 years of age as on 01/07/2024 . 

    However, in case of SC/ST/BC/EWS candidates the maximum age limit shall be 49 years and in respect of Persons with Benchmark Disabilities candidates the maximum age limit shall be 54 years as per G.O.Ms.No:14, School Education (Services-I) Dept., Dt:17.04.2025 .

    Upper age limit for Ex-service Men :
    A candidate who has served in the Armed Forces of the Indian Union is eligible for age relaxation . The length of service rendered in the Armed Forces, plus an additional three years, shall be deducted from the actual age of the candidate for the purpose of determining the maximum age limit for eligibility. Note: The age relaxation for Ex-servicemen is applicable for those who have been released from Armed Forces other than by way of Dismissal or Discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency

    AP MEGA DSC 2025 Reservations

    There will be vertical reservations in respect of Schedule Castes(Group-I, II & III), Schedule Tribes, Backward Classes(A, B, C, D & E) and Economically Weaker Sections and horizontal reservations in respect of Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, Ex- service Men, women and meritorious sportspersons as per Rule 22, 22(A) and 22(B) of AP State and Subordinate Service Rules 1996 as amended vide G.O.Ms.No.77, GAD, Dated:02.08.2023, G.O.Ms.No.3, GAD, Dated:17.01.2024, and G.O.Ms.No.46, GAD, Dated:19.05.2025

    3% horizontal reservation is applicable for Meritorious Sports Persons in terms of orders and guidelines issued by the Government vide G.O.Ms.No.47, General Administration (Services.D) Department, Dated:19.04.2025,

    31. The following are the categories of Persons with Benchmark Disabilities as per G.O.Ms.No.77, G.A. (Ser-D) Dept., Dated: 02.08.2023: 

    a) Blindness and low vision b) Deaf and hard hearing c) Loco motor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy. d) Autism, Intellectual disability, Specific learning disability, Mental illness. e) Multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clauses (a) to (d) including deaf blindness in the posts identified for each disabilities.

    Note:1 The Person with Benchmark Disability means a person suffering from not less than forty percent of any disability as certified by a medical authority except hearing Impairment. Hearing Impairment means a) “deaf” means persons having 70 DB hearing loss in speech frequencies in both ears; b) “hard of hearing” means persons having 60 DB to 70 DB hearing loss in speech frequencies in both ears; as per provision under “Person with Disabilities Act, 1995”, The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017, dt: 15.06.2017 as per G.O.Ms.No.36, Dept., for Women, Children, Differently Abled & Senior Citizens (Prog.II), Dt: 23.08.2023.

    Note:2 With respect to Benchmark Disability point (d) i.e, Autism, Intellectual disability, Specific learning disability, Mental Illness, selections will be made as per the orders of the Govt., issued vide
    .O.Ms.No.12, School Department (Service.I) Dept., Dt:15.04.2025 .

    32. Induction Training : All the selected candidates for the notified vacancies in the Mega –DSC-2025 notification may be required to undergo Induction Training on “Academics and English Proficiency” .

    1. How many teacher vacancies are being filled in the current Mega DSC?
    a. 16347 teacher posts are being filled through Mega DSC.

    a.     5. What precautions should betaken while filling the application in Mega DSC ? 
    a. The Mega DSC application has three sections. The first section contains personal information, the second section contains educational qualifications, details of eligible posts, and the third section contains fee payment details. The candidate can edit the items in the first and second sections as many times as he wants. The application form should be submitted only after carefully checking the details in it. After filling the details in the three sections, after thorough verification the fee will have to be paid according to the details of the eligible posts

    6. Do those who paid the fee in the previous DSC need to pay the fee again?
    a. Candidates who applied in the previous DSC need not to pay the fee now, but must fill and submit the new application form with complete details. If a candidate wishes to apply for more subjects or posts than those applied for previously, an additional fee of Rs. 750 per post will be required for those posts only.

    7. What is the last date for submission of application?
    a. Mega DSC -2025 candidates can fill the applications by paying the fee from 20-04-2025 to 15-05-2025.

    9. How many marks should be obtained in TET to write Mega DSC?
    a. OC candidates should secure 60% (90 marks) whereas BC candidates should have 50% (75 marks) and SC, ST, PH candidates should secure 40% (60 marks) respectively.

    10.When should the candidate upload his/her certificates?
    a. The candidate must upload his/her certificates after filling the application form.

    11.How is reservation for women implemented in horizontal reservation?
    a. G O 77 dt : 02-08-2023, Vertical and Horizontal Reservations will be implemented as per further orders issued by the General Administration Department. Roster points will not be allotted in advance to 4 categories (woman, PwBD, Ex-Service man, Sports) in Horizontal Reservation. Candidates should not be under any illusion in this regard.

    12. How are Horizontal reservations implemented?
    a. Horizontal reservation of 100 cycles will be implemented. In horizontal reservation, roster points will not be allotted in advance to the 4 categories (woman, PwBD, Ex-Service man, Sports). Candidates should not be under any illusions in this regard.

    13.How to select the option for eligible posts while applying?
    a. The application software will guide the candidate to which posts he/she is eligible, based on his/her educational qualifications. The candidate should select the eligible posts in the order of his/her interest.

    Candidates should choose their options carefully as there is no option to change them once they have selected the options.


    14.If the candidate is not selected for the first option, will he still get the job?
    a. If the candidate is not selected for the first option he/she has chosen, his/her name will be transferred to the second option. If that also fails, he/she will be transferred to the third option. This continue still the last option. If the candidate is selected for the first option, the remaining options will be cancelled. Once selected for a post, there is no possibility of changing the post under any circumstances


    15. What is the age limit for Mega DSC?
    a. The age limit should not be less than 18 years and not more than 44 years as on 01-07-2024. The maximum age limit for candidates is 49 years for SC/ST/BC candidates and for the disabled candidates, the maximum age limit is 54 years. There is relaxation in age limit in Ex- Serviceman category as per the conditions

    16. How is the Scheduled Caste classification implemented?
    a.Reservation for Scheduled Castes is implemented in the prescribed percentage as per the GO.MS. No: 7 dt:14-04-2025 issued by the State Government for the classification of Scheduled Castes into Group-1, Group-2 and Group-3 categories.

    17. How is the sports quota implemented in Mega DSC?
    a. Sports quota jobs will be filled as per the eligibility criteria of the candidates as per the rules of the state government as per Government Letter No. 00 dated 00-04-2025


    18.Who should candidates contact about the problems they face?
    a. For assistance regarding applying for Mega DSC, hall ticket, examination centers etc., you can call the Help Desk setup at the Office of Director of School Education state office and get information. The phone numbers are given in the information bulletin.

    19.Which districts have the most Mega DSC posts?
    a.Out of the 16347 posts announced in Mega DSC, Kurnool district is at the first position with 2678 posts. Similarly, Srikakulam district is at the last position with 543 posts.

    20.How to know about the Mega DSC-2025 syllabus?
    a. For the convenience of the candidates, complete information about the post-wise syllabus and question paper marks format was made available on the website in November last year.
