Read the following:-

ORDER:
In his letter 6th read above, the Director of School Education, duly explaining the reasons, has requested the Government, for exemption of the candidates belonging to category-(d) of the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities i.e., “Autism, Intellectual disability, Specific learning disability, Mental Illness” from the reservation policy for teacher posts to maintain the required standards of professionalism in the teaching and well-being of the students.
2. In the above circumstances reported by the Director of School Education and as per the decision of the Inter Departmental Committee in the reference 7th read above, Government after careful examination of the proposal therein, hereby decided to adopt the list of Central Government teaching posts identified as suitable for the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, as per the Notification No. 38-16/2020-DD-III, dated 04.01.2021, of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Govt. of India, particularly in respect of PwBDs under Category-(d) - Autism, Intellectual Disability, Specific learning disability and Mental Illness, in recruitment of teachers in School Education and other line departments dealing with Education through District Selection Committee.
3. Accordingly, the following Notification shall be published in the extraordinary issue of Andhra Pradesh Gazette dated: 15.04.2025.
“In exercise of the powers conferred under section 20 and 34 of Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (Central Act No. 49 of 2016), and in terms of the Rule 9 (2) of the G.O.Ms.No.13, Department for Women, Children, Differently Abled and Senior Citizens, dated:19.04.2023 and operational guidelines under Rule-3 (a) of G.O.Ms.No.77, General Administration (Ser.D) Department, Dated:02-08-2023, the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby order for adopting the list of Central Government teaching posts identified as suitable for the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities as per the Notification No. 38-16/2020-DD-III, dated 04.01.2021 of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Govt. of India, particularly in respect of PwBDs under Category-(d)- Autism, Intellectual Disability, Specific learning disability and Mental Illness, in recruitment of teachers in School Education and other line departments dealing with Education through District Selection Committee.

The Director of School Education; State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, A.P; the Secretary, MJPAPBC Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society; the Secretary, AP Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society; the Secretary, AP Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society; the Director of Tribal Welfare ; the Director, Department for the welfare of Differently abled Transgender and Senior Citizens and the Director, Department of Juvenile Welfare, shall take immediate further required steps/action, accordingly.
