BSE AP 10th SSC Exams CS, DO, Invigilators Training Module

The SSC, OSSC and SSC Vocational course Public Examinations, March-2026 will be conducted from 16-03-2026 to 01-04-2026. The timings of the examinations are from 09-30 A.M. to 12-45 P.M.

The instructions to the Chief Superintendents / Invigilators are divided into Two parts. 1. Part-I deals with General Instructions for all above examinations.

2. Part-II deals with instructions to be followed under Bar Coding System for all subjects. Further the instructions given to the Chief Superintendents holds good for the Departmental Officers also as both of them have to be responsible in carrying out the instructions scrupulously and conducting examinations smoothly and peacefully. 

In addition to these instructions some special instructions are given to the Departmental Officers to concentrate on certain important activities and bestow their personal attention. I therefore request you to follow the guidelines and instructions issued and ensure that the SSC Public Examinations, March, 2026 are conducted successfully and peacefully in your centre. I further inform you to preserve the above instructions as an office copy for further examinations also and for your guidance.

SSC Public Examinations March 2026 – Training Manual Summary

1. Introduction & Purpose

A training manual issued to Chief Superintendents, Departmental Officers, Additional Departmental Officers, and Invigilators for conducting SSC Public Examinations March 2026. It outlines responsibilities and procedures for all examination staff.
 

2. Chief Superintendent (CS) Instructions

  • Responsible for overall exam centre management
  • Must collect question paper bundles, verify seals, and distribute to invigilators
  • Ensures jumbled seating arrangements across schools
  • Manages answer booklets, OMR sheets, and maintains strict hall discipline
  • Must submit all examination materials to the Flying Squad/Departmental Officer after each session

3. Departmental Officer (DO) Instructions

  • Supervises multiple exam centres within the zone
  • Conducts surprise visits and monitors CS performance
  • Responsible for collecting and verifying sealed covers post-examination
  • Reports any malpractice or irregularities to higher authorities

4. Additional Departmental Officer (ADO) Instructions

  • Assists the DO in centre supervision
  • Handles overflow duties and centre-level coordination
  • Verifies documentation and ensures compliance with Board instructions

5. Invigilator Instructions

  • Responsible for seating arrangement verification
  • Distributes and collects OMR answer sheets and question papers
  • Must strictly monitor candidates and prevent malpractice
  • Required to fill attendance registers and sign all required proformas

6. Answer Booklet & OMR Management

  • Specific procedures for handling 20-page and 40-page answer booklets
  • OMR sheets must be handled carefully — no folding, damage, or overwriting
  • Barcode stickers to be affixed properly
  • Separate bundles to be maintained subject-wise and section-wise

7. Seating Arrangement (Proforma – I)

  • Jumbled seating across schools (A, B, C) to prevent copying
  • Diagrams provided for rooms with 16, 24, and 30 candidates
  • Arrangement varies by centre based on school strength and zone capacity

8. Malpractice & Unfair Means

  • Comprehensive list of 25+ malpractice categories with corresponding penalties
  • Ranges from possession of chits to impersonation
  • Both disqualification for current exam and future exam bans are prescribed
  • Cases to be reported to the Board with full documentation

9. Proformas (I to VI)

  • Proforma I – Seating arrangement diagrams
