Vignana Varotsavalu 2026 in All Secondary, Sr Secondary Schools from 28th Feb to 6th Mar Guidelines
The Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators, Samagra Shiksha in the state are informed that to promote science awareness and enthusiasm among secondary and senior secondary school students, to organise Vignana Varotsavalu- 2026 from 28.02.2026 to 06.03.2026 at Mandal, District, and State levels.The District level science day celebrations will be the culminating event of the Vignana Varotsavalu. The National Science Day Varotsavalu -2026 shall serve as a platform to celebrate scientific spirit, encourage innovation, and highlight contributions of Indian space technology and women in science.
The official theme for National Science day 2026 is "Women in Science: Catalysing Viksit Bharat". Based on this theme, the following activities and competitions shall be conducted at schools, mandal and District levels.
The target group: Upto class 8 students of government schools and science teachers(PS & BS) of elementary and secondary schools.

3. Debate Competition on Science & Technology - Key to Sustainable Development
4. Fancy Dress (Scientists)
5. Seminar on Science in Everyday Life

School Level to District Level: 28.02.2026 to 06.03.2026In view of the above, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are hereby requested to conduct the vignana varotsavalu from 28.02.2026 to 06.03.2026.
The District Level science day celebrations should be documented and submitted to this office and an amount of Rs.1,00,000/- will be released for the Vignana Varotsavalu.
