Appointment of Nodal Officers at HODs & District Level for Implementation of AP Public Employment Order 2025
Read:
The Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (Organisation of Local Cadres and Regulation of Direct Recruitment) Order, 2025 notified by Government of India vide Notification S.O.5777(E), dated:15.12.2025.
In the reference read above, the Government of India has published the Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (Organisation of Local Cadres & Regulation of Direct Recruitment) Order, 2025 on 15.12.2025 & it has come into force with immediate effect.
2. The implementation of the new Order necessitates an extensive administrative exercise involving inter-alia the re-organization of all the local cadres, division & allocation of posts & personnel amongst the newly formed units, identification of State level Offices / Institutions in accordance with the provisions of the new Order, etc. The activities involved are intricate, time-bound & require coordinated efforts across all the Departments.
3. To ensure effective coordination, monitoring & timely implementation of the new Order, it is necessary to designate Senior officers as Nodal Officers at the Secretariat Department, Heads of Department & District level, who shall be responsible for coordinating all matters relating to the implementation of the Order, including the collection, verification & uploading of data relating to posts & personnel in the software, furnishing of reports, liaison with General Administration (SPF&MC) Department & the Finance Department, etc.
4. At the District level, the District Revenue Officer (DRO) is designated as the Nodal Officer on behalf of the District Collector for monitoring & coordination of the implementation of the provisions of the new Order. The District Collectors shall issue the appointment orders in the Format in Para 5 below.
5. The Secretariat Departments & Heads of Departments shall issue the orders in the Format below appointing a Senior Officer, not below MLO, to represent the Secretary to Government & the Heads of Departments.
6. The Special Chief Secretary /Principal Secretaries/Secretaries to the Government, Heads of Departments & District Collectors are requested to issue orders appointing the Nodal Officers & mail to prlsecy_serhrm@ap.gov.in, latest by 18th April 2026.
