Rc.1777/A1/MS/RMSA/2013 Dated 7.4.2014 Applicability of Maternity Leave, Paternity Leave to AP Model School Teachers, PGTs, TGTs, Principals working in Model Schools in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana-Regarding.  Principals/PGT/TGTs working in the AP Model Schools are eligible for Casual Leaves / Optional Holidays/ Special Casual Leaves on par with the Teaching Staff working in ZP/ Government Schools in the State.

• All the District Educational Officers in the State Hyderabad and West Godavari informed that the proposals are being received from the District Educational Officers for sanction of Maternity Leave and Paternity Leave to Principals/PGT/TGTs working in the AP Model Schools. They are informed that the Service Rules of the Principals/PGTs/ TGTs are yet to be finalized by the Government. To avoid hardship in sanctioning of maternity leave/ paternity leave in absence of service rules District Educational Officers are requested to Sanction maternity leave/ paternity leave to Principals/PGT/TGTs working in the AP Model Schools under AP Leave Rules 1933.
• All DEOs in the State are informed that Principals/PGT/TGTs working in the AP Model Schools are eligible for Casual Leaves / Optional Holidays/ Special Casual Leaves on par with the Teaching Staff working in ZP/ Government Schools in the State.
• Further they are informed that the Orders will be reviewed on approval of Service Rules for Principals/ PGT/ TGTs working in the AP Model Schools
