APSSA has released the Rc.No.537/APSSA/KGBV/2014, Guidelines for written test for Recruitment of CRTs & PETs in KGBVs. These Guidelines contains the KGBV CRTs PETs Written Exam Pattern and Structure, Age Limit, Qualifications in detailed and also Selection Procedure for KGBV CRTs Recruitment.
       All the District Project Officers, APSSA & all the District Educational Officers of the Andhra Pradesh State are informed that, it is decided to fill up the Contract Resident Teacher and PET vacancies in the districts and prepare a panel of CRTs & PETs at the District Level to fill up current vacancies that are existing and any future vacancies that may arise during the academic year 2014-15. The following guidelines are communicating for smooth conduct of the recruitment process.
       The panel will be prepared purely basing on the merit in the written test & as per roster at District level. The following guidelines are prepared for the conduct of test for preparing the "District Panel Merit list of CRTs & PETs for the year 2014-15 to fill the current existing vacancies and future arising vacancies in academic year 2014-15.

CRTs PETs Written Test:
  1. 1) The 'Written Test' will be conducted at District level for 100 marks, the 'District Educational Officer ' and 'Project Officer' SSA (RVM) are both equally responsible for conduct of test at District level under Chairman ship of the District Collector, the Project Officers shall coordinate with DEOs for smooth conduct of the examination 
  2. 2) The entire process 'Written Test' have to be conducted at District level and District as a Unit only, the State Project Office doesn't involve in any point of process. 
  3. 3) The Written Test will be conducted at District Head Quarters only 
  4. 4) The confidential 'Question Papers and OMR Sheets' for examination has to be prepare at District level by the individual districts as per the directions of the concerned District Collectors without deviating blue print. 
  5. 5) The entire recruitment process of CRTs & PETs should complete by 20th September 2014 and the selected candidates should report to the allocated KGBVs by 22nd September 2014. 
Blue Print of KGBV CRTs Written Exam:
a. General knowledge and current affairs-10 marks
b. Prospective in education -10 marks
c. Methodology -15 Marks
d. Knowledge on SSA, KGBV, RTE act 2009- 15 Marks
e. Subject concerned - 50 Marks
Total 100 marks
  1. Duration of the written test- 2 hours 30 minutes from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. 
  2. Minimum qualification marks I Cut-off marks for the written test 
  3. Open and BC categories- 45/100 (45%) 
  4. SC and ST categories - 35/100 (35%) 
  5. The question paper will be in objective type only along with the OMR Answer Sheets
General Instructions:
  1. Regarding applications the candidates should approach the respective District Project Offices, Sarva Siksha Abhiyaan where the candidate is located and submit the applications in the concerned districts.
  2. Only Female Candidates can apply
  3. The Candidate should be a resident of the District where the selection is sought
  4. The mode of employment shall be on Contract Basis for a period of 11 months or up to last day of the academic year. whichever is earlier, from the date of appointment. Performance rev1ew will be conducted at the end of the contract period and based on that the contract may be extended for next Academic year. 
  5. The ·candidate should be willing to do Night Duty in the KGBV as per the roster drawn up in the KGBV. 
  6. No canvassing is allowed. Any person indulging in such canvassing is liable for rejection of her candidature.

Age Limit and Selection Procedure for KGBV CRTs Recruitment

Age: Candidate should have completed 18 years of age and not have completed 39 years of ages as on 01.06.2014. In case of SC, ST, BC candidates, the maximum age limit shall be 44 years and in respect of Physically Challenged candidates the maximum age limit shall be 49.

Remuneration: Rs.14000/- for CRTs and Rs.11000/- for PETs.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
a) Candidates shall be selected based on written test only.
b) Candidates who clear the written test will be tested to observe the teaching skills.
c) The selection of CRTs and PETs shall be made by the committee headed by the District Collector, with the District Educational Officer as member and the Project Officer, RVM (SSA) as Member Convener. The committee constituted for observation of Teaching Skills of CRTs and PETs shall be as follows:
  • District Collector/Joint Collector - Chairperson 
  • District Educational Officer -Member 
  • DIET Principal -Member 
  • Subject Specialist from DIET/ Sr. Gazetted HM's from High Schools. -Member 
  • Project Officer, RVM (SSA) - Member Convener 
  • The decision of the Selection Committee is final. 
Other Instructions:
a) The prescribed proforma of application hereby communicating to the all District Project Officers of APSSA for necessary action.
b) Candidates should present the following certificates in originalfor verification when called for.
  1. 1) Proof of age as recorded in SSC Certificate or equivalent. 
  2. 2) Degree Certificates for Graduation and B.Ed. 
  3. 3) Permanent Community Certificate/OriginalCaste Certificate. 
  4. 4) Residence Certificate. 
  5. 5) Physically Handicapped Certificate (if applicable) 
The District Educational Officers and the Project Officers of Sarva Siksha Abhiyaan (APSSA) in Andhra Pradesh State should work jointly on each and every point of schedule of recruitment procedure.
