Candidates who have passed Intermediate with Bi.P.C group are eligible for these two year Allied Healthcare Diploma Courses. (If candidates with Bi.P.C group are not available Intermediate M.P.C. group and thereafter other groups will be preferred as per G.O.Ms.No.65).

The Principals of the following Government Medical Colleges are requested to consider the local candidature of the applicants against the Districts mentioned below to the respective Medical College as a local district. Seats will be allotted to local and non-local districts in the ratio of 85: 15. The Counselling shall be conducted by the Selection Committee constituted by the Principal of the respective Government Paramedical Institution accordingly.

Reservations and Allotment of Seats in Government Para Medical Colleges

The Selection Committee shall verify the seats sanctioned and approve the selection list

The committee shall make selections in purely on merit basis upon aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in relevant group subjects excluding the marks in the languages. In deciding such merit, candidates who pass under compartmental system will be placed after candidates who pass under regular system.

Rule of Reservation shall be strictly followed while making selection. If qualified candidates are not available in the category for Scheduled Tribes, the seats reserved for them shall be made available to Scheduled castes and vice versa. If qualified candidates belonging to Scheduled castes are not available, the left over seats reserved for them shall be treated as open competition seats and shall be filled up with the candidates of general pool.

Out of the seats available for admission, 15% for SC, 6% for ST, 29% for BC's and for special categories i.e. for physically handicapped, NCC candidates, for the children of Ex-Servicemen, for Sports category strictly following the ROR as per rules.

The reservations meant for local candidates shall be followed as prescribed in the Andhra Pradesh Educations Institutions (Regulations of Admissions) order, 1974, as amended from time to time. The candidates should be Indian Nationals and the minimum age shall be sixteen (16) years. Migration certificates of the students admitted from other than state of Andhra Pradesh should be obtained otherwise their applications shall not be entertained and accepted by the Selection Committee.

Reservations and Allotment of Seats in Private Para Medical Colleges

Selection for Government Quota Seats: The committee shall make selections in Government Quota seats (i.e., 60% of the total number of sanctioned seats) purely on merit on the basis of aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in relevant group subjects excluding the marks obtained in the languages. In deciding such merit, candidates who pass under compartmental system will be placed after candidates who pass under regular system.

The committee shall verify the Government Orders issued from time to time for which the seats were granted to the Private Allied and Healthcare Institutions and approve the selection list. The Selection Committee shall also verify the period of validity of recognition granted to the Allied and Healthcare Institutions by. the Andhra Pradesh State Allied and Healthcare Professions Council before allotting the candidates under government Quota.

Which are issued recognition by Andhra Pradesh State Allied and Healthcare Professions Council by till date are eligible for Admissions for the Academic Year 2023-24

The managements of the Institutions shall admit the candidates to Government Quota allotted by the Selection Committee on the basis of ranking assigned to them against the Government Seats. The maximum number of students to be admitted in each Allied and Healthcare course shall not be more than the intake capacity of Government seats.

Selection for Management Seats: (i.e., 40% of the total number of sanctioned seats) shall be made by the managements concerned by issuing a notification in leading reginal newspapers. The selection shall be based on merit on the basis of aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in relevant group subjects excluding the marks obtained in the languages in the qualifying examination. In deciding such merit, candidates who was pass under compartmental system will be placed after candidates who was pass under regular system.

After selection the list of students to be admitted along with merit list shall be submitted to the Andhra Pradesh State Allied and Healthcare Professions Council for its verification and approval by the concerned DM&HO on or before 17.08.2023 No candidate has to be admitted in the Management Quota, without the approval of the Andhra Pradesh State Allied and Healthcare Professionals Council.

AP Para Medical Courses Admissions Fee Details

Government Para Medical Colleges:
The Tuition fee per student is Rs.6000/- per annum ( Rupees Six Thousand only) along with other special fees as prescribed in the Go MS No. 159, HM & FW(K2) Dept., dt.23.12.2020 or as may be revised by Government from time to time.

The medium of instruction in all Allied healthcare paramedical courses is English only. The candidates should have to write their examinations strictly in English only. It is also notified that examinations will be held at the end of two academic years i.e., 2023-2025.

Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory for all candidates failing which they will not be allowed to write the examinations. No condonation will be allowed.

Private Para Medical Colleges Fee: 
The Tuition fee prescribed per annum for each student is Rs.14,500/-(Rupees Fourteen thousand Five Hundred only) for 60% Government Quota seats. 

Rs.45,000/- (Rupees Forty Five thousand only) for 40% Management seats along with other special fees as prescribed in GO Ms No.159, HM & FW( Cl) dated 23/12/2020 or as may be enhanced by the Government from time to time. The Managements shall not collect any amount other than the prescribed fee by the Government.

The medium of instruction in all Allied and Healthcare courses is English only. The candidates should have to write their examinations strictly in English only. It is also notified that year wise examinations will be held at the end of two academic year i.e., 2023-2025.

Application Fee and Processing Fee
The Principal concerned is authorized to collect a sum of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One hundred only) in cash for each filled in application submitted by the candidate towards processing fee to meet the incidental expenditure.

The selected candidates shall pay Council fee for Rs.200/- (Cash Deposit) Account No.014211010000021 in favour of, AP State Allied Healthcare professions Council, Vijayawada through Principals of the Colleges and also submit the list of candidates admitted in their colleges, with signatures of the Selection committee of concerned Government Medical College within the stipulated time

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE STUDENTS

Read the instructions carefully before filling the application
  • A. Filled-in application forms should reach the concerned on or before 5.00 P.M. on 24-07-2023.
  • B. Application shall be filled with his / her own handwriting in English by the candidates.
  • C. Candidates shall not be permitted to change their social status or local Candidature etc., after submission of application form.
  • D. Applications without required candidates and incomplete entries will be rejected automatically without any information.
  • E. The Candidates has to pay the fee in full for the entire period of the course In case if the student desires to discontinue the studies and to take back the original certificates submitted at the time of admissions.

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED ALONG WITH THE APPLICATION FORM:

  • 1) Date of Birth certificate (SSC or its equivalent pass certificate).
  • 2) Copy of Aadhar Card
  • 3) Memo of the Marks and Pass Certificate of the qualifying Examination. (INTERMEDIATE or its equivalent pass certificate) including transfer certificate issued by the institute from which the candidate has passed the qualified examination.
  • 4) Certificate of study from 6th class to intermediate.
  • 5) If the applicant belongs to SC/ST/BC, a copy of Caste certificate issued by The competent authority as poof of their claim for reservation.
  • 6) The filled in application form along with a sum of Rupees One hundred only in cash towards processing fee shall be submitted to the concerned on or before 24.07.2023 by 5.00PM.
