2) From the Advisory Committee. Report received through Letter No. 1/PESHI/2023-1, dated 11.05.2023 of the Secretary to Government, Law Department

The attention of the Advisory Committee constituted in the reference first cited is invited to the report second cited and it is informed that while examining the recommendations of the Advisory Committee, it has been noticed that the State of Telangana has created supernumerary posts to accommodate the employees of SC and ST categories who are found excess due to adequate representation, instead of pushing them down to subsequent panels. It has been decided to assess the category-wise number of supernumerary posts to be created in A.P., if the analogy adopted by the State of Telangana is followed by the State of Andhra Pradesh.

The Advisory Committee is, therefore, requested to calculate the category- wise number of supernumerary posts to be created to continue the employees of SC and ST categories who are found excess due to adequate representation, in view of the revision of panels taken up and submit report, within one week positively, so as to take further action in the matter.
