The attention of all the District Educational Officers and District Intermediate Educational Officers in the state are informed that as per the School Games
Federation of Andhra Pradesh norms, the District level school Games organizing secretaries are to be nominated by District Educational Officers from among the School Assistants (Physical Education) based on their service rendered, qualifications and interest in conducting school Games.
Further, it is informed that the tenure of the post of District School Games Secretary is two (2) years. The district school Game secretary has to work from O/o District Educational Officer whenever their services are required for school Games activities. If there are no school Games activities he/she has to attend school without fail. With respect to the work done in relation to the conduct of the School Games, the District School Games secretary has to submit a Work done report and obtain an attendance certificate from District Educational Officer and submit it to the secretary SGF AP O/o CSE without fail. If there is no School Games activity, the Concerned District School Games Secretaries U14,17 &19 B&G have been directed to attend his/her normal duties in the school/College.
As per the instructions already issued in the 3rd reference cited, the District Educational Officers of Chittoor, Srikakulam, Anantapur, Tirupati, Annamayya, Prakasam, Kakinada, YSR Kadapa, and Nellore are strictly required to follow the instructions for nominating Women Physical Education teachers as district school games Secretaries based on seniority and willingness without any deviation.
For U 14,17 & 19
1. The tenure of the School Games Secretaries is 2 years. Those who are appointed in the year 2021-2022 must be replaced and those who are appointed in the year 2022-2023 may be continued to 2023-2024
2. The senior/Active willing PD/SA-PE in School Education for Under 14 & 17 years and Jr Lecturer in Physical Education for Junior Colleges must be nominated for Under 19 years.
3. Preference should be given to SA-(PE) working in Government / Zilla Parishad Schools, whereas under 19 the preference should\ be Govt. Jr./APSWR/Aided Jr. Colleges.
4. Those who are going to be retired below 2 years are not eligible to nominate the District School Games Secretary.
5. The SA (PE) who is likely to get a promotion within two months as Head Master / MEO / Lecturer in DIET / RIPE shall not be considered.
6. In case a selected District School Games Secretary is promoted as HM /MEO/ Lecturer DIET / RIPE, immediately he/she shall be replaced with another PD/SA (PE) duly selected as per the procedure prescribed above.
7. Any PD/SA (PE) who has already served two terms as District School Games Secretary earlier cannot be nominated again.
8. If any person is under Disciplinary action initiated by the concerned authorities, there is no eligibility for appointment as a District School Games Secretary.
