The applications will be received from the eligible candidates through online. A Google form will be circulated to apply and the same need to be submitted to the concerned DIET Principal. The examination centres will be constituted and eligible candidates will be informed through the District Educational Officers concerned.
The criteria for screening applicants under each position are based on the Eligibility conditions and qualifications as mentioned below.
The six sessions of the test are as follows
Note: 1. Sr. Lecturer in Teacher Education will be selected fromthe common merit of Tests 9 and 10.
2. Sr. Lecturer in EVS will be selected from the common merit of tests 6, 7 and 8.
3. Sr. Lecturer in Sciences and Lecturer in EVS (Sciences) will be selected from the common merit of tests 6 and 7.

All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers, and Principals of DIETs in the state are informed that, there are teaching vacancies in DIETs which could not be filled up due to court cases on unified service rules. Further, It is not feasible to consider promoting the school assistants and post in regular vacancies of the teaching positions in DIETs. There is a dire need to provide teaching faculty to impart regular academic instructions to the teacher trainees in DIETs.
They are further informed that the Department of School Education prepared an action plan to strengthen the DIETs for the academic year 2025-26. As per this Plan, it is decided to fill up the regular teaching staff vacancies in the DIETs through written test and interview on deputation under FSTC basis from the eligible School Assistants working in Govt./Zilla Parishad/Municipal Management Schools in their respective erstwhile districts in the State.
For the smooth selection procedure, a committee has been constituted herewith for receiving the applications from the interested eligible candidates and completing the entire process for filling up the vacant teaching posts (as per G.O.MS.No.1 Dated:01-01-2016). The committee to be constituted with the following officers:
1. District Collector (Erstwhile district) : Chairman
2. District Educational Officer (Erstwhile district) : Convenor
3. Principal of the concerned DIET : Member
Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education /District Educational Officers/ Principals of DIETs in the State are requested to follow the instructions/guidelines issued for the selection of teaching faculty for DIETs in the respective districts. The detailed guidelines for the deputation of teachers to work in the DIETs are appended in the Annexure-1 and Teaching Vacancies are appended in the Annexure-2.
The salaries of the deputation under FSTC staff will be paid from the respective DIETs only.
Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education/ District Educational Officers/ Principals of DIETs in the State are requested to adhere to the given guidelines and complete the entire process within the stipulated time and submit the compliance report to the undersigned by submitting the list of selected candidates considered for deputation for approval.
The entire process shall be completed on or before 21st November, 2025.These deputations are purely on a temporary basis for administrative convenience and do not confer any right to the candidates to claim either seniority or regularization in the said post. An undertaking must be submitted by the candidates to the principals of the concerned DIETs.

Guidelines for Filling up of the Vacancies of Teaching Faculty in DIETs
A. Procedure for submission of application through online:The applications will be received from the eligible candidates through online. C. Vacant Positions in DIETs:
The vacant positions in all the DIETs were enclosed in the Annexure -II.D. Eligibility and Qualifications for the selection of Posts in DIETs:
The post of Senior Lecturers/Lecturers in the DIETs are filled as per with the NCTE norms only. Any deviations in the matter, should viewed seriously and necessary action will be initiated as per rules in the force.The criteria for screening applicants under each position are based on the Eligibility conditions and qualifications as mentioned below.
- a. The age of the applicant shall not exceed 58 years as on 31.10.2025.
- b. School Assistants working in Govt / Zilla Parishad/ Municipal managements having a minimum of 5 years of service as on
- 31.10.2025 in the School Assistant cadre are eligible for the position of Lecturers and senior Lecturers.
- c. The applicant should possess the required qualifications as per the post (NCTE norms) i.e. Master’s degree in the subject concerned with 55% and M.Ed. with 55% of marks.

E. The Pattern of recruitment test:
- The test will be conducted in six sessions, each corresponding to a different category of vacant positions.
- Applicants can apply for any number of positions for which they are eligible, but are only allowed to participate in the tests for these six sessions.
- If an applicant is eligible for two positions that share the same testing session, they must choose to take only one of the tests.
