Sub: -School Infrastructure – Mana Badi Mana Bhavishyathu – Maintenance of Reverse Osmosis (R.O) plant in Schools – Instructions issued – Regarding.

During the meeting, several Additional Project Coordinators raised concerns regarding the non-functioning of R.O. plants in their respective districts, which has resulted in adverse reports being published in newspapers. In pursuance of these requests, the list of technical persons responsible for the concerned R.O. plants are herewith attached to these proceedings for immediate reference and action.
Accordingly, all Additional Project Coordinators across the state are instructed to organize a district-level / divisional-level workshop with the participation of Headmasters and one teacher from each school who is committed to student safety and is likely to continue in the same school for at least the next one to two years.
The workshop shall be conducted in coordination with the technical personnel of the concerned R.O. plants, with the objective of explaining the procedures for proper maintenance and effective utilization of the units. Furthermore, the technical personnel are instructed to visit all schools, address existing issues, and ensure that the R.O. plants are restored to full and optimal functioning.
In view of the above, all Additional Project Coordinators across the state are instructed to issue directions to the headmasters in their respective districts that any lapse in the maintenance of R.O. plants will result in responsibility being fixed on the concerned Headmaster. Further it should be ensured that this task should be completed before closure of the schools.
