ORDER:-
In the circumstances reported by the Director, Women Development & Child Welfare, Government of Andhra Pradesh in the reference 4th read above and after careful examination of the proposal, Government hereby accord revised guidelines for promotion of Anganwadi Helpers to Anganwadi Workers as follows:

In the circumstances reported by the Director, Women Development & Child Welfare, Government of Andhra Pradesh in the reference 4th read above and after careful examination of the proposal, Government hereby accord revised guidelines for promotion of Anganwadi Helpers to Anganwadi Workers as follows:
- 1. 50 % of Anganwadi Worker Posts should be filled with eligible Anganwadi Helpers.
- 2. The Anganwadi Helper shall not have completed 50 years of age as on 1st July of the recruitment year.
- 3. She must have passed 10th Class, and the genuineness of the certificate shall be verified through the concerned Education Department.
- 4. She shall be a resident of the same Village/Habitation (in respect of Rural and Tribal AWCs) and the same Ward (in respect of Urban AWCs) where the Anganwadi Worker post is vacant.
- 5. She must be physically fit to discharge the duties of Anganwadi Worker.
- 6. She should have completed a minimum of 5 years of service as Anganwadi Helper as on the date of notification.
- 7. In case there are more than one Anganwadi Centres in a Village/Ward, promotion shall be given to eligible Helpers in the order of seniority.
- 8. In case of equal seniority, the elder candidate (by Date of Birth) shall be promoted. If both seniority and age are the same, the candidate with higher educational qualification shall be promoted.
- 9. Reservation orders issued by the Government shall be followed while effecting promotions.

- అంగన్వాడీ కార్యకర్త పోస్టులలో 50% పోస్టులను అర్హులైన హెల్పర్లతో భర్తీ చేయాలి.
- రిక్రూట్మెంట్ ఏడాది జూలై 1వ తేదీ నాటికి హెల్పర్ వయస్సు 50 ఏళ్లు మించకూడదు.
- అభ్యర్థి తప్పనిసరిగా 10వ తరగతి ఉత్తీర్ణులై ఉండాలి (సర్టిఫికెట్లను విద్యాశాఖ ద్వారా తనిఖీ చేస్తారు).
- సదరు అభ్యర్థి ఖాళీ ఉన్న అదే గ్రామం/నివాస ప్రాంతం (గ్రామీణ/గిరిజన ప్రాంతాల్లో) లేదా అదే వార్డులో (పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో) నివసించేవారై ఉండాలి.
- విధులు నిర్వహించడానికి శారీరక దృఢత్వం కలిగి ఉండాలి.
- నోటిఫికేషన్ తేదీ నాటికి కనీసం 5 ఏళ్ల సర్వీసు పూర్తి చేసి ఉండాలి.
- ఒకే గ్రామం/వార్డులో ఒకటి కంటే ఎక్కువ కేంద్రాలు ఉంటే, సీనియారిటీ ప్రాతిపదికన ప్రమోషన్ ఇస్తారు.
- సీనియారిటీ సమానంగా ఉంటే, వయస్సులో పెద్దవారికి ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తారు. సీనియారిటీ, వయస్సు రెండూ సమానమైతే, ఎక్కువ విద్యాార్హత ఉన్నవారికి అవకాశం కల్పిస్తారు.
- పదోన్నతులలో ప్రభుత్వ రిజర్వేషన్ నిబంధనలను పాటించాలి.
