Who Can Apply?
1. General Eligibility: Employees of the Government of Andhra Pradesh are eligible to apply for tests prescribed under their respective Departmental Service Rules.
2. Secretariat Employees are permitted to appear where rules allow:
- Commercial Taxes Department: Paper Code Nos. 6 & 7
- Treasuries and Accounts Department: Paper Code Nos. 31, 46, 64, 79, 89, 100, 114 & 129
3. Finance Wing Typists-cum-Assistants are eligible for the Treasuries & Accounts Service Examination.
4. Open to ALL — Including Non-Government Employees

Mode of Payment: Fee must be paid online only through Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card. IPOs and Demand Drafts are NOT accepted. The fee, once paid, is non-refundable. Conventional Mode Papers: Language Tests (PC Nos. 5, 6, 7, 19, 28, 36, 49, 67, 37, 58, 74) and Survey & Settlement Tests (PC Nos. 69, 87, 109, 111, 116, 118, 120, 122, 133, 135, 161, 162, 165 & 166). All other tests are in CBT mode.
6. Exam Centres — All 26 Districts of Andhra Pradesh
Tests will be held across all 26 districts of AP. Candidates will be allotted to the district where they are currently working (as mentioned in their application). If accommodation is insufficient, candidates will be allotted to the nearest district.

7. Day-wise Exam Timetable (Annexure II)
The timetable spans six days with Fore Noon (FN) and After Noon (AN) sessions each day. A candidate may appear for multiple papers as long as they do not clash in the timetable.

Standard Rule: Minimum 40 Marks in Each Paper
This applies to the vast majority of departmental tests including Subordinate Accounts, Treasuries & Accounts, Revenue Tests, Jail Department, Registration Department, Sericulture, Transport, Port, Marketing, Local Fund Audit, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and more.

Note: Commerce graduates are exempted from Paper-I under Part-I of the Divisional Test. Law graduates are exempted from Papers I & II of the Criminal Judicial Test (if degree certificate is uploaded at application stage).
APPSC Departmental Tests May 2026 How to Apply Online — Step-by-Step Guide
OTPR Registration (First-Time Applicants)
Register on psc.ap.gov.in to get your OTPR ID. Your credentials will be sent to your registered mobile and email. If you already have an OTPR ID, update your working district as per the new 26-district system before applying.
Login to the Website
Login with your OTPR ID and Password. Click on "Online Application Submission" at the bottom right of the Commission's website.
Fill the Application
Verify all pre-filled OTPR data. Fill exam-specific details including exam centre, paper codes chosen, etc. No column should be left blank — incomplete applications are summarily rejected.
Pay the Fee
Click the payment link against Notification No. 03/2026. Pay via Net Banking / Credit / Debit Card. Note your Payment Reference ID.

- No whitener on Barcode Sheet = Disqualification

11. Reasons for Application Rejection
Your application will be rejected if:
- Photo or signature is not uploaded
- Exam fee or processing fee is not paid
- Service Certificate not uploaded (where required)
- Application is not as per the notification terms
- Applicant is not eligible as per Para 5 of the notification
- Applicant applies during an active debarment period
12. Results, Marks & Recounting
- Results are published on the official APPSC website (psc.ap.gov.in) — treated as authentic publication
- No individual Pass Certificates are issued by the Commission
- Memorandum of Marks (unsuccessful candidates): Apply within 1 month from result date with Hall Ticket copy + ₹200/- via IPO/Bank Draft
- Recounting of Marks (Conventional papers only): Apply within 15 days from result date + ₹300/- per paper via IPO/Bank Draft
- Revaluation of Answer Sheets: NOT entertained under any circumstances

13. Debarment & Malpractice — Know the Consequences
⛔ Grounds for Permanent or Term Debarment
- Furnishing false information in the application
- Malpractice or misconduct in the examination hall
- Misbehavior towards Chief Superintendent / Invigilators / APPSC officials
- Applying during an existing debarment period
- Attempting a test that has already been passed (re-appearing)
Penal provisions of Act No. 25/97 and G.O.Ms.No.385, GA (Ser-A) Dept., dt. 18.10.2016 will be invoked. An FIR will be filed with police in cases of impersonation or rowdy behaviour.
