Examination Pattern for Taleem E Hunar Talent Test 2026


The Andhra Pradesh State Waqf Board will conduct the Taleem-e-Hunar Talent Test on Sunday, 17 May 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, in OMR based offline mode at examination centres set up across select district headquarters of Andhra Pradesh.

The Taleem E Hunar Test will be conducted in two streams. At the time of online application, candidates must select one stream based on the academic and career path they wish to pursue at the Intermediate level. Once selected, the stream cannot be changed.

Stream 1 — MPC (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry)

For students aspiring towards Engineering and Technical Careers -  preparation track for IIT-JEE and EAMCET (Engineering).

Marking Scheme — At a Glance
  • Each correct answer carries + 4 marks.
  • Each wrong answer attracts – 1 mark (negative marking). 
  • Unanswered questions carry no penalty. Candidates are advised to attempt only those questions of which they are confident.

Instructions for Candidates

  • Candidates must report at the allotted examination centre by 1:15 PM on 17 May 2026. Entry will not be permitted after 1:50 PM. 
  • Candidates must carry the printed hall ticket along with a valid original photo identification (Aadhaar card, school ID, or any government-issued photo ID).
  • The stream selected at the time of application (MPC or BiPC) cannot be changed at the examination centre.
  • Use of mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, electronic gadgets, study material, or any unauthorised item inside the examination hall is strictly prohibited.
  • Candidates are required to use only blue or black ball-point pen for marking responses on the OMR sheet.
  • Selection will be made purely on the basis of merit in the Talent Test.

As a brief guide: 
  • Candidates who wish to pursue engineering, computer science, IT, or any technology-driven career should select MPC.
  • Candidates who wish to pursue medicine (MBBS), dentistry (BDS), pharmacy, agriculture, biotechnology, or allied life-science fields should select BiPC.
  • Once selected, the stream determines both the Talent Test paper the candidate will write on 17 May 2026 and the Intermediate course of study at Empanelled Institutions for the next two years.
