All the District Educational Officers in the state are invited to the reference cited and informed that the Government has communicated the Minutes of the Review Meeting on School Education, Intermediate Education, Higher Education and Skill Development Departments held on 30.04.2026 by the Hon'ble Chief Minister.
Further, informed that, the following are the action points pertaining to School Education Department based on the instructions issued by the Government in the ref. (1) cited.
"Ensure that enrolments in all Model Primary Schools have a minimum student strength of 60. Wherever basic primary schools achieve enrolments of more than 60, such schools can be converted into Model Primary Schools through work adjustment of teachers"
In this regard, all the District Educational Officers in the State are requested to ensure that all Model Primary Schools maintain a minimum student strength of 60. Further, proposals shall be submitted for conversion of Basic Primary Schools into Model Primary Schools wherever the enrolment exceeds 60 students by 10.06.2026, in accordance with the prescribed norms and rules immediately without fail.
Copy to all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education in the State with instructions to pursue the same with DEOs of concerned zone and see that the proposals should reach this office in time.
