For Civil and AR Constables, Communication Constables and Mechanics, candidates other than eligible Home Guards should generally have been born between 2 July 2002 and 1 July 2008. AR Constable – Post Code 22

AR Constable candidates must qualify in all three PET events: 1600 metres run, 100 metres run and long jump. These events carry a total of 100 marks, which are considered along with the final written examination marks for final merit.

Communication Constable – Post Code 25

The Communication Constable PET consists of a 1600-metre run. Male candidates must complete the run within 10 minutes, while women candidates must complete it within 12 minutes 30 seconds. PMT and PET are qualifying in nature.

Mechanic & Driver Posts

For Post Codes 26 and 27, candidates must complete the 1600-metre run within 10 minutes. The PET is qualifying in nature.
